About Hispanics

No idea what the Billion Dollar Boobie thinks he knows about Hispanic people but we live in a neighborhood with a great many Hispanic people and there's nary a rapist, dope dealer, or thug in the bunch.  It's the opposite but it's not much like suburbia where I have lived as well.  People have better things to do than mow their lawns all the time so there isn't the endless annoyance of lawnmowers, leaf blowers, snow blowers, etc.

Other than me and the guy across the street, no-one makes much noise and we had a bit of turbulence  but we worked it out locally (i.e. without cops) and everything is good.  The neighborhood is peaceful and it's full of good people.

There's one guy who comes over sometimes to do some yard work for Yevette and his English is not so good but she has a bit of Spanish and they figure it out.

For forty bucks, he shredded the place and it was so overgrown with climbing vines that you couldn't see much of anything.  He pulled it all out of there, piled it up as tidily as possible for pick-up, and didn't finish until well after dark ... all for forty bucks.

He knows there's no money here as Yevette gets bashful about it but, for me, it's just life so I tell him when there's no money, maybe in a week or two.  He understands as he has the same problem.

It's almost always near dark when he comes by and that must mean he has another job and he does this in addition to that one.  Sometimes he comes with his father and both of them work on it.

The man's name is Jesus the Yard Guy and I much prefer to show this real example of people because I posted something in News of the Demented or so yesterday and one of the items shows some guy who killed another guy over a piece of chicken.  Race relations are so tense just now and it concerns me some opportunist like Trump will use that example to show voters what Hispanic people are like ... and it's absolutely false.

I'm not some rich bitch who is trying to pump up my name but rather I'm some guy who lives it.  Believe Trump if you like but it's complete bullshit.

Way back, my brother, Doc, and I went out to the tomato fields in California and worked picking tomatoes with people who were called braceros.  Some meant it in a derogatory way but it means 'laborer' in Spanish and I have never been with people who worked so hard in my life.  The braceros are the migrant workers and likely, especially at that time, a good many were 'illegal immigrants.'

There was only one other local working out there, Monty Low, another high school kid.  He was extremely bright, exceptionally hard-working, and, oh yes, he was Oriental.  None of us were out there 'studying the species' for our lofty anthropology projects but rather we were schoolboys under working age so we couldn't get jobs doing anything else.

You can listen to what Donald Trump says but it's not clear how he could possibly know any of this when he has lived all his life with a silver spoon in his mouth although unknown about his nose.

Down here, we're not talking from textbooks, polls, or something we saw on TV.  This is real life and we tell you all that hateful rhetoric is complete rubbish.  There are people trying to survive and then there are rich bitches who don't seem to do much of anything.  Thanks but I'd rather hang with people trying to survive.  They're good, honest, and I trust them long before I trust any carpbetbagger trying to make a buck.

PS
I work most rehabs and remodels. The industry is full of white rich dudes barking orders and deadlines.
And Hispanics trying to make the next step up. These are who I prefer to work with. Sun up til sundown. And will come help out if they think you need it. I usually do as I work by myself.

I'm thinking of the super rich mucky mucks with helicopters and limos. I'm not really sure what species they are, much less what race.

Down here where you actually put your hands on stuff you learn a lot of things, just like you say.

I took a peek at MacFarland and that looks like a peach. I'm definitely up for a movie like that.

I have found it is easy to hate a group, but very hard to hate individuals.

Pols have exploited that probably for all time. Hating someone never did me much good as the person I think I should hate probably doesn't know about it and I only eat myself. It's too subjective to be sure but I really don't think I hate anyone.
