Today you broke Ithaka over a thousand even before the Sun was really up. That's the bewildering aspect since it smokes overnight but who does this. It's pleasant to ponder since people wouldn't come if they didn't at least consider the content interesting. There's no way to get an answer but pleasant nevertheless.
The What's Hot list gives some guidance and it's a huge surprise to see the interest in some fiction articles I wrote yesterday and today. That sort of thing won't roll off the keys as readily as writing of space ships or some such but it's surprising to see the reception which makes an encouraging reason to do more of it.
There's no need to write each day, gee, look what Ithaka did, but it's been remarkable the last few days due to the U-turn. It seems clear anything political may be something akin to "Don't Want No Body" by Paul Delph. He doesn't want a corporeal body which works the same as not wanting another one beside it.
My all-time favorite from him is "Eternity Spin" and here's YouTube which presents great audio but minimal video (it doesn't need video, maybe better without anyway).
Note: John Goodsall on guitar
America's show is going the Burning Horse Corpse route and Britain is going straight to the Unsanctioned Demolition Derby route.
There is no editorial beyond the stunning absurdity of it and Lewis Black said it gets more and more difficult to satirize when they live out a satire already.
