Not Much in the News But We Found Some

America has, yet again, escalated the neo-Cold War.  The installation of the ABM sites was an obvious provocation when they were placed so close to Russia and, just as obviously, Russia would respond.  (RT:  Putin: Russia will consider tackling NATO missile defense threat)

The military genius in the Pentagon would be admirable ... if they showed any.

We have only one answer to this:  Bernie Sanders.  He, as well as I, actually, have seen the madness of wholesale military build-up through all our lives.  This eventually evolved into the pitiful START anti-nuke agreements which have yet to do anything really substantive.  The U.S. and the Russia remain armed to their nuclear teeth and the threat of nuclear war has been diminished in no way whatsoever except in paper lip service from for-pay journalists.

For journalistic honesty, we're sure you regard Facebook as a (cough) unimpeachable source but, fortunately, few others regard it that way unless they also have a penchant for cat videos or advice on life from some butter brain who lives on Facebook.  (RT:  Facebook launches investigation into claims of political bias)

Note:  Huckleberry Finn swiped some butter and to avoid getting caught, he hid it under his hat.  Amazingly, it melted and ran down the sides of his head so he said that was 'brain fever.'  Yah, there's a lot of brain fever on Facebook.

Every other news source in America has shown ridiculously provincial biases in coverage of this election and they have made it more of a push for P.T. Barnum than anything else.  That Zuckerberg thinks Facebook does not do that is disingenuous crap from the one who takes the pay-off for it.

Although difficult to believe neo-NAZI in France, Jean-Marie le Pen, could disgrace himself further but he manages it.  (RT:  Guess who’s coming to dinner: Jesse Jackson ‘disgusted’ after Jean-Marie Le Pen photobombs him)

Jesse Jackson was at the side of Martin Luther King when he was shot so by what right in any demonic does le Pen think he has a right to stand beside Jackson now when he reviles practically everything Jackson says.  That's the National Front in France and they disgrace the Republic in the same way as PEGIDA in Germany.

The hideous irony of PEGIDA is most of its roots are in East Germany and the protests from them often come in Dresden and Cologne, cities which were bombed all to hell in WWII and Dresden is the one featured in "Slaughterhouse V" as a symbol of the wantonness of war and the complete destruction of everything in its path.  The city was unarmed, produced no military equipment, etc and it was obliterated in air raids.

After East and West Germany were again open to travel, there were tremendous differences in the standards of living and the expectations of people within each region.  Many in Germany now would willingly put the Wall back up because they're so fed-up with people from East Germany causing problems rather than working toward their own integration.  Instead they reject integration with refugees and asylum seeks when they were, in fact, not so long again in exactly the same situation.  When you're thinking Germany is unified, lose the thought; it's not true and has a long way to go yet. PEGIDA is the proof of it.

The game is Who Can Poison the Gulf of Mexico the Fastest and now Shell Oil appears to have one-upped BP.  (RT:  Nearly 90,000 gallons of Shell crude oil pours into Gulf of Mexico)

This sort of thing has been so whitewashed in Washington and in the oil companies with their oil-company-paid scientists but the fact remains the biological carnage from them continues unabated.
