About Fifteen Minutes Romancing the Galaxy Guitar ... and I Wasn't Stoned (videos)

Maybe too thin a play on "Romancing the Stone" but this was definitely romancing the Galaxy Guitar and endurance isn't worth a damn but I couldn't do anything for a while so it's improvement.  The wobbly isn't new and I strongly suspect the problem is nutritional.

The play sure as hell wasn't Mozart but it feels so damn good to do it.  One cat on FB talked today of giving up live gigs and he has huge talents but music can be a bitch like that.  I said to him, you know how it goes already, there's always a platoon ready to pull you down but you have to get up by yourself.  Most of the time musicos can do it but sometimes it gets to the point of fuck this.  Rising above that takes all you have.

I love music but I won't do the first one again unless I'm bored out of my skull.  It's funny and you can dance to the beat so I 'composed' it or some such but I don't play any instrument and that, for me, isn't music.  Don't be bustin' on me for Ableton as that's a category of music which is largely undefined and I'm not going to (cough) Push one on you.

This is what I do and it's one of the best I ever did plus the Texas Tornado does one hell of a fine job. Take it away, Texas Tornado:

Musicos need big balls and Cat's mother was a career opera singer with huge talents.  She sang for an opera by Wagner and those apparently run up to four hours.  My experience with opera is largely mainstream with Verdi, Puccini, Mozart, etc.  My understanding is Wagner is a difficult taste to acquire and I never came up with a reason to acquire it.  She did and she was a consummate musician.  There are many stories but I won't tell them here because they're Cat's stories not mine so it would be grossly-inappropriate.  However, it seems reasonable to say I learned things about WWII via Cat's mother which I have never heard or seen in history books.

Music is always a bitch but the beauty part is when it isn't and the Sun starts shining because nothing else makes it shine so bright.

(Ed:  LSD?)

Maybe but hold it a second ... did you hear that noise???   Look out, the Sun is exploding!!

(LSD Man runs away screaming and the Galaxy Guitar laughs)

Music ... maybe one of the few things in our lives which never needs a reason.
