Veterans Day Parade in Fort Worth w/ Bernie Sanders via Action Cam

The current maybe-possible idea is to use an action cam to film the Veterans Day Parade in Fort Worth and Bernie Sanders' presence there.  Unknown if I can do it and we hope the GOP will have the good grace to stay away as all of us have heard their promises before and all of us know they are not true, we live it every day.  Moreover, all of them except Sanders think of soldiers as nothing more than 'boots' and will send more kids to get killed to accomplish nothing more than to stroke the political ego of whomever sent them.

We obviously do not want any truck with their political pandering because we admire other people so much more.

There are many places here which feature Spanish prominently and we see whomever tried to make a go of it with this restaurant was strapped so hard for cash it was not possible to get pro sign painters.

The restaurant appears to have shut down but that speaks in no way of the hard-working nature of Mexican people who are now here in the United States, for whatever reason and by whatever path.  Fort Worth is highly-depressed and there many failed businesses all along Hemphill.  This is the same place which has a surcharge on sales tax to support the technical splendor of the police department.  The GOP says they loathe new taxes but they sure don't mind imposing them for cops.

If anyone seriously wants to change the characteristics of impoverished neighborhoods, it would be vastly stronger to support them rather than sending B&Ws to harass them.  Of one thing we are absolutely positive, you will never fault Mexican people on their loyalty to family and friends.

Here's another and this one is just now starting up.

I can't translate the sign but I do know one translation:  freedom and they work for it.  If you wish to compete, you better have a strong heart because you will have one hell of a time keeping up with their working pace.

The cats next door love to get together and make music on their back porch ... but you will only hear that on the week-end.  We have watched as they have been working a rehab on that house for about a year.  Some others are doing the same thing on a house directly across the street.  They do each bit as they can afford to do it and can take time away from other jobs for it ... and then they sing, all together, on that back porch.

There are some places which are highly-photogenic in Fort Worth but that's just to make a poodle parade and my purpose is much more to show you the real flavor of Fort Worth.  The photographs are not so good and I chucked some more which were even worse quality.  They were shot from inside a car for reasons which I have already flogged.

If Yevette has recovered by tomorrow, I may ask if she would like to roam about to get more of these pictures.  Maybe you should ask what recovery but I told her before leaving this morning this won't be so bad, it's much closer and it should be whizbang, in and out of there, and back to the Rockhouse in a couple of hours.  It didn't exactly work that way as the testing took most of the morning ... which took most of her morning ... unexpectedly.

This jaunt really bitch-slapped her vampire hours and she was so tired this morning she had an extremely difficult time doing it but she is one hell of a trouper and off we went.

So, yah, hopefully it will be possible to bring you something more interesting than Dr Marcus Welby, 2015.
