When pressed to explain her millions of dollars of contributions from banks and other corporate sources, Hillary Clinton not only failed to do so but tried to dance away from it with specious references to how many small scale contributions she has from women which presumably is supposed to deflect the fact of banker ownership of every cell in her body. That kind of word dancing and shadow play may work in Washington where do they do everything with mirrors anyway but we will tolerate in no way whatsoever the rampaging corruption the corporations and Super PACs bring to any candidate and not solely that one.
By far, Clinton's huge fail was unwillingness to address in any way, bank reform, campaign finance reform, and the fact the bank reform became necessary after her husband, Bill Clinton, gutted Glass-Steagal during his administration. That, in large part, brought down the economies around the world in 2008 and that collapse was made inevitable when George Bush made his willful and ill-advised changes to tax code and began his frivolous engagements in multiple wars without any discernible goal in sight, only to kill lots of Muslims. He did that and because of that America is still killing lots of Muslims and still with no goal in sight.
Clinton also defended the destruction of any real government in Libya and continually made excuses for the Obama administration's catastrophic failures overseas and her part within those failures. Clinton failed to mention at all how her husband, Bill Clinton, had begun the initial fail in dealing with bin Laden in an ineffectual air strike in Afghanistan during his administration.
We do not pass by the catastrophic failure of the George Bush foreign policy and we have no doubt the Bush and Obama administrations will go down as two of the worst in American history for their failures to adequately deal with the problem and to waste enormous numbers of lives and resources in those failed campaigns. In fact, the Bill Clinton administration belongs in that roster of failed Presidencies as well due to his enabling of NAFTA to send jobs to Mexico and his destruction of bank regulation which permitted the growth of Banks Too Big to Fail. Guess what, Billy Boy, they crashed all over the pavement and nearly took down economies around the world.
The evidence was made clear in the attack on Paris which exemplified multiple failures at once. First, there is the catastrophe in foreign policy and I doubt a single person in Paris would dispute it. Second, it showed the NSA doesn't have the first idea of that which is happening with terrorism because they, again, were caught completely by surprised.
In large part, Obama has been trying to address the failures of previous administrations but, the fact remains, he has not done it. I state, emphatically, I have no interest in skin color and have only concern to my performance. I state, emphatically, I have no interest in boobs unless they are somewhere near me and offered in an inviting manner. Clinton's blatant pandering to women, gratuitous references to religion to suck up with evangelicals who hate her anyway, and word dancing about previous failures make her a grossly inappropriate choice to lead the most powerful nation on the planet.
Note: in fact America is not the most powerful as that changed with nuclear weapons and made the point obsolete. Any of almost a dozen nations can do that by triggering the nuke war with a single nuclear weapon.
Bernie Sanders was the only one to address the massive wastage in the military and the only one offering to do anything about it. His clear references to the Veterans Administration and resolving problems were a major score to a problem which affects me directly and so many others. Clinton offered nothing except the willingness to send more 'boots' to the Middle East and I was proud to hear righteous indignation from Bernie Sanders who nailed her with the fact the soldiers are people and not simply articles of clothing (my words not his but accurate to point).
Martin O'Malley seems a good and honest man but he was largely ineffectual in making a case he will do a better job or that he has the experience to do it. Washington does not need a smiley face although he seems to have a pleasant one. We did not watch faces last night and, instead, listened to the audio because we loathe the coverage by commercial networks and want only the content from the candidates. We have absolutely had it with TV talking heads.
In summary, Martin O'Malley was nice but that doesn't work in Washington. Bernie Sanders was accurate to task and to method of accomplishing it. Our loathing for corrupt candidates was shown in Hillary Clinton's word dancing, pandering, and excuses. Moreover, her utter failure to address the corrupt sources of campaign dollars is an immediate and total fail. We are disgusted with that class of politician and will have no more of it. We saw what comes from corrupt campaign dollars through the behavior of Bill Clinton regarding NAFTA and Glass-Steagall and we can see it all over the GOP candidates, all of whom are owned down to their toenails by corporate campaign contributions.
Bernie Sanders has support from the people and only the people. We the People!
Support for Sanders is confirmed by his presentation from last night. We have been watching this intently and ignore altogether news media reporting of the campaign because they are just as much corrupted by corporate dollars as Hillary Clinton. She needs to go home and stay there.
Recall, specifically, a great deal of that from which America is trying to recover right now was set in motion by her husband, Bill Clinton, and it makes no sense even on the Dark Side of the Moon to bring him back into the White House with her. We saw the respect he had for the office the last time he was there. NO MORE CORRUPTION.
