The Rockhouse is not fumigated but the Silas now smells like a) a jar of jellybeans, 2) a mountain stream, 3) a hog being roasted in a 55-gallon drum. (Choose as many as apply)
This clears the way or at least the air between the present existential aspect and making the video in the Confucius suit.
Nothing much happens during daylight hours because vampire time but things start conglobulating (holy shit, that's a word??) as the day drops into the blessed darkness.
According to Oxford, 'conglobulate' means 'Join closely together' but if we review monosyllabic English, we discover join means that anyway. The general sense is a group of tourists will conglobulate as tourists often will.
Thin. Mighty thin (larfs).
Prospects for the Confucius suit are not thin as there were four trial runs starting from weak as hell to death by clam but there was good progress toward shooting it. Making that shoot is not a big deal as it only means activate the cameras and do it. However, to do that first means suiting up and that part sucks bad if it's just for a wave-off.
Unrelated except as a strange word:
Corybantic has come to mean frenzied activity but it's based on an the Korybant, an ancient Phrygian priest associated with wild music and dancing.
Note: Phrygia was somewhere in central Turkey
Here at the Rockhouse, we see getting corybantic as exceptional goodness, at least in the context of the Korybant. How it got transmogrified to the extent it had reached when Aldous Huxley used it is unknown but he saw such activity as overt vandalism with no music or dancing. William Styron later referred to such activity in generally the context of large-scale music and dancing in "Sophie's Choice" and we much prefer that interpretation which seems much closer to the original vibe.
However, digging somewhat more is not revealing wild music and dance.
The Korybantes were the armored dancers on Cybele and their performance was a highly-stylized display of macho but little apparent abandon. (WIKI: Korybantes)
That said there was sometimes confusion with the 'kouros' but looking into that showed a great many ancient studs in the service of Apollo but that dance was more a rite of passage to manhood than anything else. That also linked to the Dactyls and they get about the closest since they're ancient smiths and healing magicians but there's still not much dance / music. (WIKI: Dactyls)
The digging didn't reveal much in the way of wild music and dancing but we can roll with the vibe of the word anyway.
Looking forward toward getting corybantic with recording in the Confucius suit.
