War Against the Bible is Revving Up for Christmas ... So They Say

In the last few days, some shopping mall announced they would not have a Christmas tree this year but rather would use a display of a glacier (wtf??).

My first reaction to that was, holy fuck, put the tree back or we will have plastic Christians whining up and down about a war on Santa, the Bible, and who knows what else.

And, well, speaking of a War on Santa.  Yep, we've got that too.  The Guardian has an article which relates how parents are horrified about a PayPal ad which they say questions the existence of Santa Claus.  (The Guardian:  PayPal stole Christmas: Money transfer system leading kids to believe Santa doesn’t exist)

For the above to have any credence, impact to children, war on religion, it must be assumed children who are young enough to believe in Santa Claus also use PayPal for their financial transactions.

Um, right ...

Besides, what could serve Jesus better than to bring his presence to the sluttiest, most commercial, money-sucking hellholes on the planet.

Real Christians don't care about such things because they have real faith and nothing will shake it.  These ones who whine about a War on the Bible don't believe much of anything.

To my knowledge, the only one with a War on the Bible is Richard Dawkins ... and hardly anyone pays any attention to him since he turned from a renowned scientist ... into a miserable crank.

We also have no use for atheists who trash Christmas to promote themselves ... but privately celebrate it.  It's a cheap gimmick and we don't believe their lack of faith any more than we believe the faith of the ones who scream of a War on the Bible.
