Eriska, an Island on the Coast of Scotland, with Century-Old Family Pics

Apologies that this is not the original and I don't apologize for Photoshopping it only that I don't have the original image.  The island was owned by my richy rich great Grandfather on my ol' Mother's side and he's something of a legend in the family.  My Grandmother was a young woman when she was there and my Mother was a young girl.  The photograph of my Grandmother is as an old woman so the thinking was of her ghost going back to do some more gardening.  Who knows, maybe she does.

I believe but I'm not sure everything poofed with the crash in 1929.  Regardless of the cause, this incredible house is now, gad, a hotel.  Queen Bee and Tinkerbell have been to the hotel but best to ask them for their impressions of it.

Here's the original of my Grandmother and this time in Edinburgh, year unknown.

Here are some more originals with my grandparents:

My Grandmother and my almost-brand-new Mother.  (Must be 1918.  Almost a century - wow)

My Grandfather and my almost-brand-new Mother.  (Must also be 1918)

Many years later, here at Pappy and Granny, as we always called them, in Sydney or maybe Katoomba:

Left to right:  Silas, Pappy, Queen Bee, Granny, Doc (maybe 1953 or 1954)

Note:  as I review all the places my family has been, it becomes close to unreal.

You look a lot like your "Pappy" and that pic of your Granny could be a pic of Anne.

Sorry to hear that you r not feeling so good. Might want to keep some Gatorade on hand for the electrolytes too. Hopefully you will get some relief and answers from the doctors in a few days.

I'm really glad you enjoy them and this was one was definitely for you.

Thanks but I've been through this before and I have been taking steps which seem to be working so far. Being old is a bitch (larfs) but that's not going to surprise you.

You're still one of the sweetest lights in Scotland and there's not so much else I enjoyed but meeting you meant a lot to me.
