Unbelievably, the high "E" string was still spot on tuned. It's been weeks in which there just wasn't strength but she waited. Sure it makes me misty now but not while I was playing.
I know where the love is and I also know where it's not which is why alienating that force makes no difference to me. They had their opportunity to help and they didn't do it. No matter what they don't do that they committed to do, I'm damned if I'll hate them.
The chords weren't anything in particular but I wanted something raw and she delivered it. After a bit that gave a foundation for some lead with the looper and that sounded not too shabby. It was hardly Hendrix but it didn't have to be as her love was shining bright.
There is no endurance to do it for very long but it went five, maybe ten, minutes. Nothing was recorded because I kind of thought I could do it but I didn't want to make such a production of it that it never happened. Besides, it needed headphones and I do hate those.
Maybe you use a little headset for Skyping with dear Mary Jane Wrattenkratsch (see "Full Metal Jacket") but those types of 'phones are easy. The ones I use for serious audio are big, heavy Sennheiser dreadnoughts and those I do hate but only from discomfort and not because of poor performance.
Here's dear Mary Jane: (Warning: probably everything in this will offend someone)
(Ed: how can you possibly segue from that to your deep love of the Galaxy Guitar?)
Life does the segue and I do my best to roll with it although I'm damn glad my starting point was not the Marines, the Army was bad enough ... but Mary Jane was there (larfs) ... or not depending on your point of view.
She sings, she sings
(Ed: Mary Jane?)
Who's that?? (larfs)
