Killing People with Natural Health

The most notable accomplishment by people supportive of 'natural health' was through apricots (i.e. amygdalin / Laetrile).  This was promoted as a cure for cancer and clinics were common, particularly across the border in Mexico.  As will come as no surprise whatsoever, Laetrile not only does not cure cancer but is actively toxic because it produces hydrogen cyanide.  Of course, proponents say the cyanide kills the cancer.  Maybe so but it also kills you.  They all died.  The end.  (WIKI:  Amygdalin)

This travesty of medicine also shows the travesty of law administered via state's rights as twenty U.S. states legalized it after the FDA ruled it was not effective.  We see the same thing happening today with the laws on abortion.  Morality in the U.S. not only varies with each way the wind blows but also or especially on the latitude of the state.

And why would anyone listen to the FDA:  Thalidomide

Despite the best efforts of the FDA, Thalidomide passed the tests and went on to deform a huge number of children resulting in deformed or missing limbs, etc because of an unknown side-effect.  But the natural health cure people say the FDA isn't necessary.  Of course not, everyone should be able to release chemicals like that for public consumption.

One major disgrace in the way Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook grub for money is that there is a never-ending parade of natural cancer cures from which Zuckerberg is just as shamelessly promoting as any 18th Century snake oil salesman.  He is pandering false medicine for money and the consequence will be what it has always been:  dead people.  You may wonder regarding American morality in general but there is none at all in Facebook.

There are various things natural health quacks have in common:  they are all charming, they are all convincing, they will all take your money, they will all kill you.

Here's the ultimate travesty:  even after all the people died from this most blazing example of medical quackery, it is STILL being offered as a cure for cancer or, if you like, marijuana is illegal but this stuff is not.  I'm not resentful over that particular aspect of that as it's just another disgrace in a situation that has been a medical horrorshow from start to finish.

The reason you don't not see natural health cures in hospitals is the same reason you don't see psychics buying lottery tickets.
