Usually by this time, Wal-Mart has undermined the local businesses and they're gone. They have destroyed at least one town in America by moving into it, driving the local businesses into bankruptcy by undermining, and left afterward when they decided it wasn't profitable enough. Small businesses are there for life but Wal-Mart only stays for as long as it amuses them without any concern for the consequences (i.e. typical GOP morality).
Wal-Mart isn't the Anti-Christ as they have done some good things but the bad far outweighs that relatively trivial effort. They did go some distance to making prescriptions affordable, however, and that gets a hat tip since other major pharmacies were forced to follow suit. In general, however, Wal-Mart is part of the cynical system which cements Big Pharma in-place so that effort toward prescription prices is shallow and utterly false over the long-term.
There's no need for an extended diatribe since the business failure above was in one of Cincinnati's most blighted commercial hellholes, Tri-County Mall, the same place where you can get a Shih Tzu with kennel cough because she came from a puppy mill (Petland).
R.I.P. Maggie, one of the sweetest little doglings you might ever hope to find. Don't you cry, Mystery Lady, since you gave her all the love in your heart and I know that's more than most could ever hope to give.
It's always Christmas for her now.
As to the background, Kaninchen, you wouldn't expect us to live in someplace anything like normal, right? That backdrop was featured in one of the Big Gigs in which we played together and will never be forgotten. Unfortunately, there is no video or audio from either one of them. Sometimes it's better when the fish gets away because it makes you want to find another one.
