There's nothing huge, it's just a hassle. The Embassy doesn't want to see you for a simple renewal but rather it needs to be done by mail. This is a problem in going by mail as there is no way to print the form, or I don't know of one right off. There may be somewhere around here I can get a PDF printed for not much money so more research is needed.

Update: I've been through the consulate Web site more times than I want to count and the renewal definitely has to be done by mail.
