The Pelican had only to say, "Hot damn, Earl! I never thought I could stop so fast!"
Some of you ski bums enjoy the grand sweeping side-on stop when at the end of a run because it's dramatic and sprays snow all about the place. It won't impress the ski bunnies but you may feel kind of butch. It could possibly impress the Pelican so there's some fish for thought.
Good luck, good skiing, watch out for Pelicans.
