Maybe the most beautiful sports car ever built and this is sport like no other, it's Ferrari sport. The elegance of her lines, the balance of her body, and the exceptional power to weight ratio made for motoring intended specifically for the west coast of Italy where the highway follows the sea and may be one of the most spectacular tours in the world ... or maybe the Mille Miglia, why not.
(Ed: that's not speed, mate. THIS is speed!)
Unclear who shot the pic as it doesn't have the Stu Levy B&W brilliance which makes it more credible I did it but that still isn't a guarantee. Ongoing mystery. Shot sometime in the seventies, most likely at Camden, OH, or Eaton, OH. It looks more like it could be Eaten but not really positive about that.
Excellent point about speed and this is the Queen Bee making big speed with her right foot flat to the floor. She's not racing for any lady's consolation prize as she always goes for the win and she was fast, she would get it.
The corner is coming to the left and we see No. 21 tries to get inside her but it seems she may have more speed. We don't really know what happened but you can see they were getting to it in a hurry.
Make what you will of the elegance of her lines ...
(Ed: yah, sure, roll out this nostalgia and try to pass it off as news. This is not bloody news!)
You might want to revisit that thought, Donald Trump, as this pic was only shot about a month ago.
(Ed: she does not age!)
Well, you will need to ask her about that since I can sincerely assure you I do (larfs).

My money is on the 21 to be in front on the exit of the corner.
With just a hair cajones and a slight slide outward she will have to wait for a re-attack
My top three exhaust notes
Ferrari ever and always.
Honda V4 bike
and honorable mention
most Ford Mustang V8s
It may have to play that way as she seems to have had more speed to get to one side in the first place but she knew not to let him tease her into over-extending so maybe it has to go that way with a re-attack on the next corner.
Your exhaust note selections are excellent ... except for that Mustang. It's got a great sound but it's everywhere! The Ferrari belting it on the public Autoroute is one of the most delicious sounds I have ever heard. No-one was chasing him, he just liked the sound.
The big power mustangs are not everywhere. I dont mean the GT but more along the lines of GT500 or a Roush Stage 3
They have that nice deep rumble that turns to a scream.
But that is why they make more than one exhaust setup. There are more than one set of ears
I doubt I have heard that one as I just hear the ones on the street and those ain't my favorites.
The Ferrari has a natural elegant sound.
The Mustang is more a guttural pleasure
A big V-8 when it's been tricked a bit is one formidable beast. Mustangs seem like the big hit with juniors as I see them all over the place ... or pickup trucks. Many times the pickups have glasspaks or some such on them and sound ridiculous.
Ford does a commercial amplying the exhaust note through a bank of speakers but the use a GT so it is not as,impressive as it should be.
I bet Doc has some one off cars with an excellent note. He is like Foose if it doesnt sound like a badass car it isnt finished
The one which got me onto exhaust notes was that first Chevy II he built with that insane idle and building RPMs so mad fast. That was one of the supreme automotive sounds evah!
That's when you look with great pride at his accomplishment and think, dude, you are a certified Big Dawg fuckin' lunatic!
He doesn't seem satisfied with a car until it turns over seven hundred hp and, sure, you never know when you might need that, right?? (larfs)
Fo' real as maybe you're escaping space aliens or a tidal wave or something!
Or wanting to impress Jesse's girl
Yep, got that song turning over in my head (larfs)
