The Blundering Bundy Bitchup and Oregon Cop Report

Cops will get slashed if they have it coming but this time they don't.  After reviewing almost thirty minutes or so of the full report from the Oregon cops, I saw no violation of protocol and damn sure no attempt by the cops to commit murder.  It wasn't until the third time Bundy Boy Finicum reached for his gun that cops shot him.  In my view, that's a fair shoot as it was known he had a gun where he was reaching and he was just working up the insanity to pull it out.

The gun he was known to be carrying was, in fact, in the pocket where he was reaching and it was documented as his weapon because it was a gift from a relative.  Thanks for that Merry Christmas, huh?

The Oregon cop analysis was meticulous and showed the events leading up to the shoot in painstaking detail, almost frame by frame.  After seeing that analysis, there is no reservation in giving the cops a pass.  Regulars know I will slash hard any cops who are guilty of excessive violence because of the pervasiveness of it in the modern cop world.  However, there was no evidence of false reporting, inappropriate procedure, or anything of that nature in the analysis except one flaw.

There is one troubling aspect of the report and it's regarding the FBI because they fired off two rounds but did not report them to the Oregon police and do not apparently seem to know which agent fired them.  Maybe you're asking yourself ... this is the FBI, how is that even possible they don't know.  Yah, me too.

Neither round struck anyone but that's not the point.  Cooperation between the FBI and local authorities stinks like a dead rat when they fail to disclose weapon's firing.  More outrageously, they don't even know who did it.

Oregon cops report the Inspector General is reviewing the matter and hopefully the people will not let this rest until it's answered as to what precisely the FBI did and why.

Note:  again, the FBI did not hit anyone with the two rounds.

The Oregon cops fired four rounds to try to stop the vehicle and you knew from the audio recordings Finicum had no care about hitting them.  Those shots were justified and they stopped when the vehicle ran into the snowbank and stopped.

There were three more rounds fired when Finicum reached for his weapon the third time.  I saw no violation of protocol in that and my take was the cops were trying their professional best not to kill him but he just would not have it.
