Not really sure who was with me for this concert but it was a long way back and at Bogart's in Cincinnati. This is what happens when Robert Fripp (King Crimson) puts together a league of exceptional guitarists and the concert was fantastic. I'm sure the Astronomer was there as no chance he would have missed it. That pushes the date to right around 1980 or a bit earlier.
If there's a single word I took from Robert Fripp, it's discipline. He strongly emphasizes this one. You will hear it in the play. It's difficult enough to keep two guitarists in excellent time with each other, now try it with twelve. I'm highly sure you will be impressed.
