CNN Tells Us El Chapo is the One Reason for Chicago Heroin

The propaganda from these tabloid rags isn't limited to puerile statist jibber jabber as making excuses for the incompetence of the subjects of statist jibber jabber is another important role for the spineless lackeys in media to play.  (CNN:  How escaped drug lord Guzman has poisoned the streets of Chicago)

The first task is to put a face on the problem as then that individual and everyone of the same race can be used in "Die Hard" movies in the future as generic bad guys.  Through this helpful assistance from CNN, we discover Mexico is the reason for so much heroin in Chicago and El Chapo is the specific cause.  You can almost guarantee any future "Die Hard" movie will be based on Mexican criminals who use a lot of tunnels.  Likely Donald Trump will use the same material to tell you why he should be the new Pope.

The unverified economic basis for changes in heroin imports from Mexico is that farmers have started growing opium poppies instead of reefer.  This is reported as something new but Mexican reefer hasn't had any particular value in the U.S. in years.  Where Mexican reefer would sell for $60 to $80 per ounce, American reefer would sell for $300 to $400+ per ounce and be a much better value due to the substantially better quality.  This is nothing new and the change started twenty or thirty years ago.

There are more reefer growhouses in the U.S. than there are McDonald's and sure that's a wild guess but right now is the first time I have lived anywhere which was not a growhouse in years.  Reefer is exceptionally easy to grow and many, many people have small-scale growhouse operations active.

The biggest turning point in global heroin production was when the Taliban wiped it out in Afghanistan.  They regarded growing opium is sinful and anything sinful with that crowd means you will not remain in an above-ground circumstance for much longer.

After the American invasion, heroin production went back up to pre-Taliban levels, highest in the world.  You can write your own editorial as to why that happened but that's the fact of it.  The consequence of it is an extreme increase in heroin consumption since 2001.

Most of the heroin coming out of Afghanistan goes to Europe and Russia.  It's not clear where southeast Asian heroin is going now as much of that went to U.S. but now it may not go anywhere due to increasing demand in China and the apparent increase in opium production native to Mexico.

El Chapo should only only partial credit in the article because Big Pharma in U.S. has been more effective in creating drug addicts than any mechanism since the old French Connection.  There are multiple rants on that matter in this blog regarding addiction to legally-prescribed narcotic pain medications but CNN shows I wasted my time.  The only real cause to all of this drug abuse is El Chapo.  Thank God we have them to figure it out for us.

big pharma should only get an assist in this They may make it easy to start but China White or Black Tar runs $20 -30 a point where as anything from Big Pharma is goin to set you back at least $40 and with the new additives limit the ways you can ingest it
Ask any junkie on the street and the best comes through the mexican cartels not because they produce the best product but because they have the distribution network to get it to the people.
Go to any kitchen and ask them they will confirm it

My point with Big Pharma isn't so much price but rather availability and their part in creating a huge demand for narcotic pain meds. These are the real 'gateway drugs' as they start the hunger to get more and more of the buzz. Doctors own their piece of it as well due to their irresponsible prescription of these drugs.

Trust me on this it is price. And the ability to use as they want.
I agree that Big Pharma and the Pain Drs own the "civilized user" Tennessee owns the Pain Clinic capital.
But the regular junkie only uses pills when they are getting sick and cant find thier people
Watched it for years and while pot is the gateway society thinks it is Most of them started there the ones who progressed would have done so with any starting point

I'm not claiming any expertise on this side of doping as I've read statistics but I regard the actual drugs as near-poisons and stay away from people who use them. The most disturbing news for me lately is that Mexico does grow opium as I did not previously know they had the capability and thought they were only a conduit.
