The People of Coney Island in Pictures by Mark Hartman

His eyes are clear so he's not drugged but I sure would be at the beach.  The kid looks like he is held up by a tower of strength.

Note:  I never took kids to a beach so, yep, if I'm at the beach then I will be buzzed if at all possible.

Brooklyn-based photographer Mark Hartman visited the Coney Island boardwalk every day for a month, documenting the diversity of the people who visit the beach. Walking the same route each day in a process that became meditative, and with a rule that he would not include any Coney Island iconography, resulted in a series of sparse, elegant portraits saturated with color.

Doing this is a completely bad idea since the sand can easily collapse on top of you but she looks adorable doing it.  Maybe Hartman was implying something fetal by this.

She's not "Baywatch" but she's real and I didn't see Mark Hartman's purpose as going out to find the beautiful people and some others I did not include are definitely not physically attractive but they're true to the people he saw there.

Maybe it's not true and there are the beautiful people (i.e. all plastic and poofed) at Coney Island and he has deliberately chosen only a subset.  We don't know and will go with his artistic integrity that these people are truly representative.
