"Eve of Destruction" | Sung by its Author, PF Sloan

As a kid I suffered through Vietnam (I was not in combat).  Now, as an old man, they do exactly the same thing in Syria.  There's no editorial beyond that as this song has made me cry every time I've ever heard it.  This is a deeply personal version of it and I identify strongly with the feeling of lack of legitimacy in America.

Since some in the audience use cellphones to record the performance, this must be relatively recent which makes it all the more poignant as he saw it all too.  Why don't they ever learn to stop the Pentagon.  They're not your friends, they're not anyone's friends.
