There was a bit of revelry out and about today and it's unclear if Take 7 will make it into the game behind that tonight. There's still an hour or so when it could so we shall see how things develop.
Yesterday there was some concern about mistreating my arms by feeding them only vegetable soup. Unknown if it really did have any effect but there does seem some improvement after eating some chicken today. Of course it could have been the curry because of the many cosmic properties of the spice(s). So it may be my imagination but it seems the arm muscles were pleased by the poultry.
Note: curry isn't one spice but a combination of many and that's why Chinese curry is different from Indian curry is different from Malaysian curry, etc.
The lasers and the smoke slow things down enormously as usually I only turn around walk three or four paces and pick up the guitar to play. Everything is here and most of the audio kit is under power all the time. If it's audio only, I'm playing in seconds. Add in the other stuff and it goes up to an hour (larfs).
There was today's smoke epiphany when I was thinking about how much I like being in it but how much I hate breathing it. There has been no improvement in breathing problems and fog, regardless of whether it's a vapor, could hardly be beneficial. Then the epiphany came and this is total briar patch medicine: put some albuterol in the fogger juice. The reason this is an exceptionally bad idea is maybe the stuff turns deadly poisonous if you heat it. I still think a reefer tea in the fogger juice could work, tho.
Getting another laser into it is hugely desirable and the mathematics for that show it's three cartons of cigarettes. This is also a reefer-acquire month but it's medicinal and not negotiable. Whether you agree it's medicinal is not your call but the cigarettes are obviously not helpful for anything and deep fry the budget worse than reefer.
The other big hit is the potential for bringing another camera into this. The argument in favor is it would look sensationally cool viewing out from the light rack. The argument against it is what else would it do for any other video. I need all five cameras now and could actually use several more. This has nothing to do with self-adoration but rather with visual dynamics as most of the time you can't even tell who is playing (I want it that way).
It would take two weeks solid for a laser to get here from China and there has been blather about this one in particular because it has four laser beams, each with a different color. Two weeks to finish the video is just not acceptable, tho. I go into each Take now believing this could be the one so ordering this laser deflates that immediately.
The same delay is true with a camera but only for five days.
The other thing staring at me is what about releasing the CD and that's half the cost of the devices. There's no telling if it will do anything but it definitely won't if I don't release it. Doing that won't cost any time but it won't add any zing to the video either.
