NGC 6052 - Collision of Two Galaxies

Call it a trillion stars in each galaxy and all crash into each other.  The surprising part is astronomers say space is so empty and so vast the individual stars don't hit each other.  There's all manner of galactic turmoil but it's not apparently an explosive collision.  We have two spinning disks colliding and what shape they will take after this dance is your guess although astronomers probably have a computer model which will show you.

There should be a black hole at the center of each galaxy so they should have huge fun when they get into the general proximity of each other.
