Hell No, I Don't Trust Gunners

Lately I've been called arrogant, closed-minded, stupid, uninformed, etc ... the usual litany and because I refuse to trust an armed gunner in my presence.

Their positions are mystifying since a gun can kill me so why should I not consider the presence of one in the vicinity is an immediate, potentially-lethal threat.

The gunners say they are responsible and most of them ... well ... some of them have been subjected to background checks.

And, tell you what, that's really comforting.  Yah, that's because the Affluenza Teen got his check behind a license for driving and then went out to get drunk and fucking killed four people.

Then they say, well, I'm not like that.

And, sure, they're not ... at least not today.  Say he comes home tomorrow and finally catches the wife getting it on with the UPS delivery man ... then we will see crazy.

Strangely enough, I don't want to see that kind of crazy carrying a gun and particularly when I don't even know you.  How can I possibly know if your wife is nailing the UPS guy.  And, no, I don't drive for UPS.  Please don't shoot me.

How did I know?  Dude, everybody knows.  He drives for fookin' UPS.  That truck is kind of hard to miss when it stays in front of your house for an hour.

So then he shoots me anyway just for knowing about it.

It's really not clear what aspect of the Wild West the gunners find so attractive although the gunfights in the middle of the street must have been fun for the whole family.

Note:  from what we've read, they really weren't good at it and often missed each other.

The trust aspect is the most mystifying part since a gunner demands it but humans never demand trust immediately from anyone.  All of us know it doesn't work that way so what's the trip with these loons that they expect it.

I leave a business anytime an exposed gun appears unless it is accompanied by a law enforcement badge. No they dont scare but I am white and I dont break the law
