The Lefty Unplugged Drug at Cat's Art MusikCircus

There are lots of drugs Mama says you should avoid but the lefty Unplugged Drug is one you should take a lot, as much as you can ... except I ain't yer Mama and lefty Unplugged ain't a drug.  This seemed a dumb idea to start and, yep, it was.

Since I'm doing a shabby job of it, let's hear it from lefty Unplugged to tell you, sing to you, himself.

Sometimes, most times, it's best to just let it roll.

When you see him, bug him to record "Men in White" and, when you hear the song, you will know why.  In Brit talk, that one is a cracker.

Maybe you think, oh, he plays acoustic so all he needs is a guitar and a microphone.  Guess again on that one, Bill Graham, as here's what lefty's kit really looks like:

Don't take this to mean sometimes lefty Unplugged turns into an Electric Hellion and maybe he does but we have never heard that.  lefty's kit isn't for creating distortion and wild things but rather preventing them as he is rigorous about sound quality and this is the kit he uses to keep it to the standard he wants (i.e. immaculate).

lefty Unplugged is not quite so rigorous in tea management and this has a resulted in one or two technical (cough) matters over the years.  So there's your moral of the story:  management of technical kit is important ... but so is the tea.
