On the Ground in Amsterdam - The Galactic Peace Tour Lives!

This is the first time the MAP has changed in around three months but I'm on the move again.  Flying out of Edinburgh was a riot as it's a funny little airport.  It's so small I was half expecting see the Edinburgh hang-gliding and skydiving clubs playing out there.  I flew out on easyJet, one of the cut-rate, crash-and-carry airlines but they were very cool, very efficient, and don't even require you fold your own parachute.

Things got quite bad in Edinburgh for reasons I don't wish to share.  I made a deal with myself that I would not seek vengeance on the one who did it by spanking him here although I will cheerfully take his throat out if he screws with me again.

I will fly out of here tomorrow for Texas where the weather will be so much better.  It's got mile-wide tornadoes after all.  You saw all that stuff in "Twister" and that's where it really happens.  Ohio gets some quite massive tornadoes as well but they don't tell you that.

My deepest thanks to Lotho and Queen Bee for rescuing me as I would still be sitting back there, freezing my ass on guard duty for my guitar otherwise.  The situation was exceptionally grim but they came through with aces and it was a beautiful thing.   Thank you!!!

I should be in Texas sometime on Thursday but details are not clear at the moment.  It is such an immense relief to be going there at all.  On with the Galactic Peace Tour!
