Netanyahu is a Very Bad Deal

It is one hell of a damn shame that the international negotiations with Iran on its nuclear program fell apart.  It was the first time in thirty years that the U.S. had engaged Iran in any positive way but the deal fell apart because France torpedoed it due to pressure from Israel.  Netanyahu has been screaming that the it was 'a very bad deal' that was being made with Iran, the chorus was taken up by France, and now it is being mimicked by the U.S. Congress, quite possibly the most ineffectual political organisation of pandering polemicists on the planet.

This puts Israel up on a whole new level of international hypocrisy as it has been even less cooperative with the international community than Iran has been on nuclear technology.  No-one even knows how many nuclear weapons Israel possesses, how they are deployed, or what Israel can do to deliver them.

If you're Jewish and you take offense at my comments, do feel free to take a hike and throw a net over Netanyahu.  He has been making things worse in the Middle East for many years now and his self-righteousness over Israeli settlements in the West Bank is a day-in / day-out insult to the Palestinians.  I'm not an apologist for Palestinian terrorism but it's hardly a surprise when there is endless provocation from Israel.

There will likely be people pointing to the policy of appeasement by most of the world during the rise of Hitler that led to World War II.  However, it can hardly be called appeasement when the sanctions imposed against Iran, primarily by the U.S., are in actuality creating the same type of economic ruin in Iran that Hitler manipulated to bring the German people to his side in the first place.

Iran's leader is showing great courage in entering into negotiations as there is heavy opposition to them within Iran.  All hope is not lost, however, as there are supposed to be more negotiations in about a week.  Hopefully, common sense will prevail.
