Because Excellence Precludes Politics, "Mediterranean Sundance" (video)

Paco de Lucia, Al DiMeola, and John McLaughlin performing live in concert.

For when you're fed-up by the insulting prattle from those overstuffed trollops on the political stages, kick back for music from people from whom better than any mortal could ever play is the standard every time they pick up their instruments.

If the dream isn't about excellence, you need a different one.

Do a Mediterranean Sundance since the depth drops off so slowly that you can walk far out into the water without getting that wet.  There are no particular waves unless the wind blows hard and that always comes hardest in the Winter.  Even the Med gets scary in the Winter.

The temperature is high and what were you expecting, you're in Greece.  It's damn hot but that breeze off the Sea changes everything.  People drive up and down the beach in their cars and on two-wheelers but it's not like Daytona and the vehicles make a much more subdued presence.  Do be sure to at least use some of that Greek olive oil on your skin since it's said to protect to SPF 8.  That's not much for a whole lot of sun dancing but it should protect for at least a little.

Maybe it's not a guitar you're hearing in the distance but a bouzouki.  Of course you have to hear more.

Welcome to the Med.

I never did understand the need to strive for excellence. I am more a " better than mediocre" dreamer.

A lot of things won't work out so well for you even though your plan is probably the best way to get through life without undue annoyances. Racing won't work so well for you and Hamilton's excellence or at least that of Mercedes' today just wasn't enough. Life without competition could be quite the pleasant stroll although I've known very few who are completely non-competitive.

I see how racing and competitiveness relates to just better than mediocre.

I don't think I'm getting how mediocre and dreamer work together, tho. If'n I'm going to conjure up a sex dream, it's probably not going to include Mama Cass, if'n you're hearin' what I'm sayin'.

Same as I dont always dream of supercars.

Actually I'm really not qualified since I know hardly anything of dreams and don't have strong evidence I ever dream.

Most dreams are done while awake. And with planning they are realized.
Otherwise theyvare just fodder

I'm good at those ones but always felt kind of ripped off since I have almost no awareness of dreams while sleeping
