FeedBurner shows Ithaka is up to more subscribers than in some while and that's further evidence Clintonistas and Trumpites are irrelevant but the number is just an approximation so it probably doesn't mean much.
Right now it shows ninety subscribers and that proudly shows we're not even close to mainstream but cutting them off is kind of harsh. They've been loyal so being an asshole toward them is so Washington.
However, failing to do that leaves the problem unsolved of articles being posted up to an hour or more after they're posted. That's not consistent but it happens one hell of a lot.
The best question at this time isn't how to fix it but does this shit really matter. The article is safely posted to the blog and available to you and it really doesn't make much difference when it hits the social networks since there's no consideration of scooping anyone with anything I report so speed isn't all that important.
That aspect is why Facebook needs me more than I need it. The articles I post are hardly ever conventional and mainstream but the comments on Facebook almost always are (i.e. boring as a gallon of paint). The idea of needing approval is only for children because you will hardly ever get it anyway.
Therefore, the best answer may well be just let it go. That works as I don't want to screw around with lame-ass computer problems anyway. There was a time when they were used for creative purposes but now it's just a large pack of hacks with their hands out for money.
Note: richies do that when the po's couldn't be bothered because we're tired of the shit from it.
You can see that in Tim Cook when he deliberately marginalizes OS X Sierra with useless crap to absorb iOS which we didn't want anyway. The people with handheld devices are almost always too stupid for real computers so catering to them is nothing but another richie with his hand out.
It was such a brilliant company but now their biggest dream in innovation is just another fucking car. Blow me the fuck away (larfs).
Yep, looks like the best answer is to kill dlvr.it and stay with TwitterFeed to stop the spamming of duplicate articles and then walk away from that entire snakepit, leaving things just as they are and FeedBurner will fix it whenever their Washingtonian asses get around to it.
