Security at the Oak Ridge, Tennessee, nuclear facility was breached, ridiculously easily, by Sister Megan Rice, 83, and two elderly companions. (CNN: Nun, two others in federal court for nuclear breach)
The purpose of the breach was to protest the enrichment of uranium for military-grade applications and to raise awareness that the United States has not only failed to eliminate nuclear weapons but rather is still making more of them.
The nature of the breach was that Rice and her two companions used bolt-cutters to chop through four chain-link fences and they were not resisted anywhere. It wasn't until they were spray painting various slogans on the nuclear facility's buildings that they were stopped.
While every cop in America, which is one HELL of a lot of cops, is off chasing Muslims, this little old lady walks right past the security of what is ostensibly one of the most highly-restricted locations in the United States.
So what does the Department of Homeland Security do exactly? Oh yeah, take your shoes off, mister.
