Kids, Kids, Kids

There are no pictures from the Easter service nor are there any of Harry's family from when we have eaten together as, gasp, neither situation is a tourist attraction.  I arrived late today as they were just about to leave to go swimming but there was still time to talk for a little while.

I said I should have brought my guitar with me to show it to Harry's youngest daughter as I know she has been learning to play.  That's when Harry's older daughter said to me that she plays too ... and she paints ... and she is writing a book!

Harry's daughter said she has been taking guitar lessons from a math teacher but he has said she must focus on her math work before she can take any more lessons.  I told her there are a great many learning resources on the Internet for chord progressions, etc and I would be happy to find some for her but her focus is clear.  She has exams for the next month before school breaks for the summer so it goes math now and summer later!

Harry's son who, at about three years of age, is much younger than his sisters.  Earlier, he had wandered over to my place and I often leave the door open so apparently he went inside before his mother fetched him.  (He's not in any danger in wandering around as there is no way he can get out onto the street.)

Quite a charming day!
