Happy Birthday to Tinkerbell

This was worth a login to Facebook so I have wished her a happy day filled with singing cherubs or whatever the hell cherubs do.  I know her birthday is actually tomorrow but who plans that far in advance.  Politicians don't so why should I.

I also saw Pink understood Kissinger's evil and he mentioned another aspect of his evil of which I was not aware.  I didn't read beyond that because most have no idea and bury their heads in the sand. I'm quite sure that's my longest-running friendship in America since that goes back to the first year my family got here.  It wasn't the continuous situation as with Cadillac Man but I reconnected with him on Facebook and that's one of the few things of real meaning which happened there.

Pink is a really bright guy but he's also shy and modest.  I didn't remember but he said I loaned him sci-fi books when we were kids and it's amazing the effect of such a simple thing.  That wasn't connected, of course, but later he went on to work on high-end energy systems so he doesn't spout the standard liberal hype about nuclear power plants since he really knows the material.  He turned out to be a remarkable human being and it was a wonderful thing finding him again since he underwent a tremendous evolution.

His estimation of the problem of nuke plants or any high-end systems is the same plague as elsewhere in America with middle managers who have no idea what the hell they're doing and who shouldn't be used as anything more than as pulp wood for Chinese coffee tables.

There were over eighty other messages from people so I did the obvious thing ... I ran for my life (larfs).

I was surprised the kids didn't impose a nipple ban for posting a pic of Elke Sommer but maybe I have been successful in driving off the prigs who do things like that.  Facebook is fundamentally flawed anyway when it tolerates such Victorian morality from Zuckerberg, particularly when he does it under the guise of 'family values' which has been one of the most punishing aspects of political correctness since public flogging.

(Ed:  Facebook is a horror and all Americans are prigs.  Got it.)

In fact you don't because the minority of Americans who push that repressive crap are the prigs and the real people are the ones who haven't yet tarred and feathered them.  If you want to have kids then do it and, for the ones don't, leave us the fuck alone.  We don't miss them and we never wanted them in the first place.  We love watching them but never had any desire to own one.

It's funny for me to hear parents prattle about how much they learned from their kids but they don't want much to talk of the encyclopedia they didn't read.  It's great when you only learn baby talk but the only application for it is in text messages.

This one has been a fairly good day since congestion slowly eases and it's incredibly slow but it becomes clear it won't turn back around again.  That permitted riding shotgun with Yevette this morning to help perform a rescue.  No need for details except the rescue wasn't for me and that's even better because I could sit in the background and smile.

After that, I was obliterated and fell asleep immediately on getting back here, only to wake a few minutes ago.  For the longest time I would only last two hours since I would awaken, drowning in congestion after that period.  Finally, a bit o' mercy and I got some sleep.

More medicine arrived from VA today and now there is enough BP medicine to last three or four months easily.  They also sent another inhaler and that was excellent too since it's the one I wanted and they had previously sent Spiriva which is about as impotent as American foreign policy.

Looks like peaches all over today so quite a good one and only two more days until the rains come.
