Avination is a most interesting alternative to Second Life and it has the same sense of boldness as Second Life in the early days. Zaphod Enoch is a long time friend of Cat and he's invited me to play at BluesFabrik on Saturday, January 4th, at 1:00 pm SL Time. I played for him once before in Avination and it was a great gig so it will be very cool to go back and it's an honour to be asked to play.
This won't be the first gig playing back in the U.S. but it is the first one that is hard-scheduled. Right now I'm very much hoping to play at Cat's Art MusikCircus on Thursday and soon after at Julie the Poet's swimming pool. There's also a gig at Woodstock but that's a little more distant.
That's not Woodstock as in everyone take acid and dance naked although I suppose that would be ok. It's more like Woodstock in play whatever the hell hippie music you like. It would definitely be a cool place to play.
Meanwhile, the battle with the drum machine continues. I've watched many tutorials and found them worthless. If I discover anything useful then I'll post it. I can't believe my question is so rare that it's never been encountered before. So the battle continues. I screw with it for a while and then I withdraw so we can glare at each other for a while. There's something learned each time so sooner or later it's going to crack.
