"Desert Rose" | Sting and Cheb Mami | Live

Talk about multiculturalism if you like but musicians have been doing it, well, forever.

There was a taste of what comes with Sting when he played with The Police and their rhythms weren't the easiest to play since they always wanted something new until that wasn't enough for him.

"Walking on the Moon" - The Police

There was regret when nothing came after "Second's Out" with Genesis but that must not have been enough anymore for Gabriel in the same way as Sting outgrew The Police.  While I'm not entirely happy they didn't continue making killer works with either band, the work they did later is exceptional in a different way.

Not a great movie but a very good soundtrack.  The music is 10 times better than the movie. Harvey Keitel was a terrible Judas with a heavy Brooklyn accent...just didn't buy it.  About the only great thing in the movie was Bowie playing Pilot. The soundtrack on the other hand....I played in my Walkman so many times that I wore out the tape...then bought it on CD, and now that's wearing out...guess I'll have to do a a digital download.
