Test Flight of a Gigantic RC B-52 Jet Aircraft

These RC aircraft are getting so huge the pilots will be required to file flight plans before too much longer.  You won't quite get the perspective on this one until some of the fellows are standing around it and you will see this is one giant bird.

This is a test flight and unknown if the first one but the video was only posted a month ago so this one will likely go touring the shows now or at least in the Spring.

The noise at take-off with turbines screaming is expectedly harsh but it's kind of cool in being B-52 harsh.  It's highly impressive.

The next question is how to move it and the wings must be removable but the fuselage is too long for any non-commercial vehicle so maybe that means it has to be separated into two segments as well.  That means disconnecting the control surfaces in the tail ... but if the aircraft is built as fly-by-wire then the connection should be re-connected by plugging some cables together rather than re-connecting physical linkage, right?

For the RC model the control surfaces would be operated by servo motors in the tail section anyway, I guess.  Maybe it really does break down into bite-size pieces that way.
