It's extremely easy to miss comments now Blogger has made its little change. Just by luck I talked to Mystery Lady just now and she asked about the comments and why don't they show. I wasn't mad about anything and just didn't know the comments were there.
We talked a bit about experimenting in her art and I told her she does things I never heard about previously. She replied she doesn't think anyone ever did some of this before.
For example from at least twenty years ago, she sometimes liked to use salt on a water color painting because little nodules of salt while the paint is wet can have a novel effect. She finds great inspiration in trying new things.
I did tell her this time that I didn't really get it when she switched to batik from painting acrylic. But ... but ... but ... you're so good at painting. It doesn't compute. It isn't logical.
Time has passed and logic has become more clear but it doesn't have to be practical and the latest vision is if Mystery Lady, Cat, and Yevette get together to mix up their herbal potions. They could be like The Witches of Eastwick.
Tip to men: don't piss them off.
Mystery Lady gets to the old Celtic witches by way of Germany and Ireland. Cat found the way through Germany and eastern Europe. In part Yevette has the way through to American Indians since there are Indians in her ancestry. They know or can find the old witchy ways and would be some seriously dangerous females.
Like I said ... don't piss 'em off.
