There's quite a bit of vitriol in some of the articles regarding the Dallas Safari Club and they've earned it but little is served by ranting about their callous manipulation of the Namibian government. They won't change as they have plenty of money to ensure no-one can compel them to do much of anything.
The other approach is support for people who really can do something about it and the best name that comes to mind is the World Wildlife Fund. Individually, there's not much anyone can do but the WWF has some collective power.
As Anonymous observed, despite the outrage over what the Dallas Safari Club is doing, there didn't seem to be any parallel increase in contributions to any groups that can fight back or at least have some chance of fighting back. The DSC will probably move fairly quickly to shoot the black rhino as it's summer time in Africa just now so the shooter could be flying there any time.
It's not likely that this black rhino can be saved but perhaps others can and the only way to do that is when the WWF can meet or beat what the Dallas Safari Club can spend. As it stands, the DSC can throw a million dollars at the Namibian government in return for letting them kill a black rhino. Unless the WWF can meet or beat that, the black rhino is going down and they'll shoot every last one of them because the rarity of it gives them a major erection.
I doubt it would serve any purpose to write a list of animal conservation sites as likely you know them already and the main point of this is Anonymous' observation. If any animals are going to be saved, it's going to take some money going to those who can do it.
