Chief Cedric must have been dropped on his head as a child and doesn't offer much but then Tom comes as Israel's Sir Lancelot but he probably just wants to shag the queen again since he hasn't bothered to read the material as we see when the reference to Shockley flies over his head.

Shockley got the genetics world raging and the mainstream world shaking in its boots when he announced racial differences in average IQ.  (WIKI:  William Shockley)

The story is twisted since Shockley was a certified Big Smoke in Science and he won a Nobel Prize but it was in transistors rather than in genetics.  He also made an observation regarding casualties likely from an invasion of Japan and this was used as part of the justification for bombing Hiroshima / Nagasaki.  Read the WIKI for that gem since it's not germane in the current context.


Here's the beauty part:

Late in his life, Shockley became intensely interested in questions of race, human intelligence, and eugenics.  He thought this work was important to the genetic future of the human species and came to describe it as the most important work of his career, even though expressing his views damaged his reputation.  Shockley argued that a higher rate of reproduction among the less intelligent was having a dysgenic effect, and that a drop in average intelligence would ultimately lead to a decline in civilization.  On a debate with Afro-centrist Frances Welsing he responded to a question as to whether black people are intellectually inferior because of their racial heredity with the following statement:

My research leads me inescapably to the opinion that the major cause of the American Negro's intellectual and social deficits is hereditary and racially genetic in origin and, thus, not remediable to a major degree by practical improvements in the environment.

Shockley's published writings and lectures to scientific organizations on this topic were partly based on the writings of psychologist Cyril Burt and were funded by the Pioneer Fund. Shockley also proposed that individuals with IQs below 100 be paid to undergo voluntary sterilization.

In general, Shockley believed the black / Negroid race shows lower average intelligence than Caucasians with Jewish people somewhat higher even when that's not a formally-defined race and Asians average the highest IQ of all.


William Shockley is another mid-life crack-up much like Richard Dawkins who did seminal research as a young man but became a directionless wastrel of no particular value except for yap shows in his later years.

The biggest flaw in Shockley's thinking is he only had research he got second-hand and he did nothing to understand the measure of intelligence so, in effect, he viewed the matter at not much more depth than needed in considering a simple spreadsheet.  In other words, an IQ measure doesn't mean much when there's no standard for measuring it.  Moreover, IQ is significantly changed by malnutrition during development, etc.

There were so many flaws in Shockley's premise he could join Dawkins today for a Shock & Awe lecture to warn of the coming peril from black Southern Baptists.  As you may have noticed that's exactly the play a great many are offering regarding IS-IS.


The beauty part overall is Tom at the top is spewing the same master race bullshit from seventy years ago and for the same purpose; go ahead and wipe out Arabs because, wtf, they're not worth a shit anyway.  The uniforms changed over those years but the language didn't change at all.


Cadillac Man and I were talking earlier about a one-state solution with Palestine / Israel and he thinks it's inevitable but I don't.  Unlike Twitter, we can speak with equanimity on it since otherwise I would not bother.

C.M., based on the above with Tom, why should anyone want a one-state solution with him; why should anyone even want to be on the same continent?  It's a land full of white power gumball machines and you can pop a quarter into any of them to get the same result, just the same as in Washington.
