Here's some Rockhouse time-traveling while staying physically within Fort Worth.
Ed: you need some 1927 delivery vans to be convincing.
The purpose really isn't a believable fake since I want to borrow the vibe of pics which usually have such a finish.
One more:
It's not much changed except to push the overdone look of it.
They're a little bit artsy-fartsy but not so much I'll get kicked out of the Rock Hall of Fame.
Ed: you're not in the Rock Hall of Fame.
See, no worries.
I'll see what Yevette thinks since this is her town but I like the effect and I want to shoot some places around here in which people struggle to get started but they're slowly succeeding, at least some of them. Part of the story in the Mexican restaurants is their colors since they're always gaily painted in many colors. Only a master can shoot that in B&W but color is too much.
I want the pictures to be less photograph-y to prevent the effect in which they jump off the page to strangle you with in your face aggression. The object isn't softening photographs such as through a gauze filter or so but to reduce the impact. We shall see.
