The Great Fracking 2016 Oklahoma Earthquake (5.6)

By L.A. standards, it was an amusement but, by Midwest standards, the earthquake with an epicenter in Pawnee, OK, was an event at Richter 5.6.

Here in Fort Worth it came as kind of a rolling sensation.  Since I can be less than stable, I wasn't sure what was happening.  I was sitting in the chair and it didn't move even when it felt there is rolling.  I stood up and used the pole to the light stand to stabilize so I wasn't rolling but by then nothing was happening.

The evidence was inconclusive until I started seeing messages about it on Twitter and then news services.  It does seem it was real.  (RT:  Significant 5.6 quake hits Oklahoma, strongest in years)

Pawnee, OK, is also pleased to invite your consideration and investment in fracking sites in the city.

(Insert the litany for the world of pain if the earthquakes in Pawnee, OK, set off the New Madrid Fault in Memphis, TN)

The biggest earthquake ever recorded in Oklahoma was only five years back in 2011.  Fracking companies are toying with systems beyond their willingness to understand except for their purposes of exploitation.
