Pol Arida organized the show of music which is entirely original at the Gaia Rising Amphitheatre which is owned by Enchantress. She donated her amphitheater for the show but refused any tips and instead wanted them to go to the performers. She is another kind of original. Thanks for what you do, Enchantress.
Lisa Brune accompanied by FunkyFreddy Republic to open the The Originals Show
This was a 'dual stream' in which FunkyFreddy is playing guitar from America and sending that music stream to Lisa in France. She adds her singing to it and then sends the stream on into Second Life where we hear them performing together as if they are in the same room together. The result is beautiful and is definitely original.
1330 - Pol Arida from Scotland
Pol Arida has a most unusual guitar playing style in which he often spanks the strings rather than strumming them but the result is some really interesting and powerful work. His videos on YouTube have a very high level of professional polish and the production is worth it as his stories are much more than love songs.
You can learn more about Pol Arida on his Web site.
1353 Jordan Reyne sings from England (I think. She gets around quite a bit.)
Jordan Reyne has written music which has wound up in places that would likely surprise you quite a bit. She's very talented and sings in a style that has a taste of Celtic to it but her voice is her own. She sings deep and brings her stories out in front of you. It's beautiful work and very much original.

1419 Paris Obscur sings from Paris
Paris Obscur has been a favorite for quite some time and no show about Originals would be full without him. He has such deft skill in going deep into darkness yet come out with a feeling of romance and love. His vocal style is unlike anyone I have ever heard in delivering such enormous passion often mixed with pain.
You can find more about Paris Obscur on his Web site.
And the house is packed!
Jack Kinagree, Lexie Luan, and IraNormanSegall using S.R.T. this time
Jack Kinagree and Lexie Luan were singing in a style that's more folkie than the others but they set themselves apart with some lovely harmonies they make with each other. Ira was playing bass and also a wood box for percussion. They said they are using S.R.T. (Same Room Technology) to remove the need for complex audio streaming and they are performing from somewhere in America.
You can learn more about the group on their Web site.
1504 Voodoo Shilton comes to The Originals stage
Voodoo Shilton is another favorite who plays regularly at Cat's Art MusikCircus. He has a whole different look for this show but he started with "Elephant Strut" which is some serious ground pounding in his Voodoo flamenco jazz way. He segues at the end to "The Littlest Elephant" and they are delicate little beasts. Beautiful play.
You can learn more about Voodoo Shilton on his Artist Profile on the MusikCircus Web site.
1530 Deadeye Foggerty comes to sing and play acoustic guitar
Deadeye Foggerty has got a pretty voice and he sings in a gentle style. He presents another original style in show in which every performer has been approaching it differently. This kind of liveness is very much, I believe, what keeps music as a whole alive.
