Sonya Jevette Wobbles Cat's Art MusikCircus

Left to right:  Medora Chevalier, Sonya Jevette, Silas Scarborough, Cat Boucher at Cat's Art MusikCircus

Nobody does Wobbly, Wobbly better than Sonya Jevette and every time she does the "Big Girls" song she has people on-stage wobbling right along with it.  I've written about it before but it's always cool as you rarely have situations in which people know the words to your original songs and are typing them out in chat while you sing them.  This is how you harmonize in Second Life, right.  What's cool is that you can.

Medora said she wanted to be in the blog so ok, girl, here you go!

What Medora shows us is that big girls need to be able to hold their beer ... a lot of it.  I couldn't catch a shot of the bubble gum and that's a shame as what says disco love more than beer and bubble gum!

BIG GIRLS ...
KNOW HOW TO SHOOT SOME POOL!

There's a vulnerability in Sonya that's very tender and makes you love her all the more.  All the songs she sang last night were original and in hearing them you believe every word.  It's not just that she sings a song and it's pretty as each word from it is something she has lived and you can feel it in how she gives it to you.  She's a big girl making psychedelic soul music but in the center is a special tender heart.

There is a song contest which will be judged, I think, this week-end and we would like to send our best luck to Sonya in the hope she will win it.  The lady deserves, she has worked so hard.  In fact, last night she mentioned going down to Houston to play some gigs ... and she got stuck there for a week because the transmission on her car broke and there was nothing she could do.

You can find much more about Sonya Jevette on her Web site and you can join Cat's Art MusikCircus group on Facebook to learn about all the performers.
