A long time ago, Smithsonian magazine ran an issue with meerkats on the cover and from then on meerkats were famous.
Here's one more because there's something fundamentally wrong with anyone who doesn't love meerkats.

And if you love meerkats but think it's ok to catch one for a pet then there's still something fundamentally wrong with you. They're highly-social animals and forcing one to live alone would be a heartbreaker for it.
