"Lily on the Beach" - Tangerine Dream Live - Krautrock, Finest Kind (video)

"Lily on the Beach" is on Tangerine Dream's CD of the same name.  Yah, that's eponymous but it sounds so neojourno to say it.  This recording is live from East Berlin in 1991.  Tangerine Dream may be one of the earliest krautrock bands as being a strong alternative to guitar-dominated rock.  That name came out of derision from the Englishers but the Germans thought it was funny and adopted it.  Stick that in yer stiff upper lip, chappie (larfs).

After the biggest smash-'em-up bike crash in '91, the only part of me which would move much was my right arm.  That meant I could operate the remote control for a CD player with five discs and I played them so many times.  "Lily on the Beach" is one which stays the deepest with me and it's for the entire disc since I never listened to only one song.

During that time I was alone most of that time and that was out of specific agreement with the Mystery Lady that she must not drop out of school.  What she could not know and I did not want her to know was what it was like.

There isn't anything lower than that as my left guitar arm was smashed so much there was no part of it which would move, even the elbow would not bend.  The doc had me drugged way down on some type of narcotic but it didn't stone me, they never do when they fight real pain.  There was definitely reefer as my dear friends, J & D, came by soon after it happened and they made sure of it.

Rolling a joint was a trick but I could move my right hand over to where my left hand was and use it a little bit.  For rolling a joint, it is worth it (larfs).

When you're alone with something like that and seriously drugged, you will go into worlds you never knew.  In this one I would never play again as it was obviously logically impossible since my arm was hugely destroyed and there was no future in anything.  It couldn't have been any darker if something put a silver spike in my heart.  There's the never-ending pain and it goes on and on and on with you sinking deeper each time you awaken.

Note:  this is not a sob story.  As I frequently remind, you can remember pain but there's no way you can remember what it felt like.  Our minds are gentle like that.

What I remember of it isn't what the pain felt like but the deep dark pit and how this band was some kind of light inside it.  Even today it can bring tears and this was almost twenty-five years ago.  The tears are gratitude and all kinds of things together because there wasn't anything else but the music.  Today, there still isn't and I wouldn't have it any other way without the music.

The other blazing light was my parents coming out almost every day at lunch time so they were sure I ate.  They understood it with the Mystery Lady but it didn't seem like anyone else did and no need to continue as nothing good comes from that.  Good which came with my parents was unpredictable as they always had an entourage, usually of a random set of grandkids.  That was a whole different kind of light and life and just as much appreciated.

For long, long after, my parents and I would go out to Burbank's Barbecue in Sharonville for their open mike night for blues.  My ol' Dad even painted a group which appeared there sometimes with Cincinnati Slim.  In Holland, they call times like those gezellig, times so good they do not need words because everyone already gets it.

There was some playing yesterday so don't ever be thinking the fight has stopped.  If it were easy, I would have solved it a long time ago.  If you're thinking this is all from guzzling Pepsi, lose that; I can easily go through a gallon of milk in three days even if Yevette doesn't touch it.

This is not a world awash in darkness since coming out of that time took most of two years but waiting on the other end were a whole lot of days around the swimming pool in the backyard with people all over the place.  I still couldn't swim but I could dog paddle like a master by then (larfs).

Sometimes the Mystery Lady would be furious and quite rightly because she would come home from work in the afternoon and wonder who the hell are all these people.  I didn't quite rightly know who all of them were, maybe most or some but not all ... it's a party, man.  Note:  this is a really, really bad answer (larfs).

Note:  we never ever had one of those signs which said anything about don't piss in our pool.  Kids will pee in your pool.  You can try to shame them if you like but it won't have any effect.  It also won't do anything to the pool which has a volume of forty to fifty thousand gallons.  If your kid can change the pH of that, you have one major warrior on your hands!

Never again was the Australian crawl possible ... but that's ok as Americans don't even know how to do it (larfs).  It's kind of incredible to see America turn out killer swim teams but so many have no idea how to do the crawl, most basic of all.  One thing about Australia, you WILL learn how to swim properly.  It still won't make you faster than a shark but at least you will have a small chance and make it more sporting for the shark (larfs).

Dancing with a Daffodil

As you get ill, people will peel off and disappear.  Those ones who peel don't matter as the ones who stay are precious.  That's yer true blue team.

Strength may be regrouping and it's a difficult thing as it evaporates with some sort of relationship to eating but it's a bitch to tell causes and effects.  The result is something that wrecks me for weeks but things seem to be on the slow ascendancy now.  This is the third or fourth time it has happened but without any strong idea what causes it.  Without an answer, the other choice is to roll with it until the next doctor appointment comes, I think in May.

If you could contact Congress and tell them to stop sandbagging VA, that would likely be extremely helpful.  Just a thought.

One sign of improvement is locating a green screen on eBay but finding an appropriate scaffold / support / truss is still not so productive.  Will need to verify but I believe the dimensions for that end of the room were 10' x 13' and I won't get an exact match but it's muslin and can be easily trimmed.

The questionable part is how to hang it without introducing wrinkles.  That sounds nitpickish but it's crucial to the efficacy of the chroma key masking (i.e. picking up the green part and throwing it out of the video).  Wrinkles will result in slight shadows, variations in chroma key and then a wider masking in Final Cut (i.e. more data loss, more fuzzy edges).

HUGE WOW

There is leftover hardware from the truss for the light rack and there might just be enough kit to hang the green screen.  That's heavyweight kit so it will be a bitch to screw with it but I will check it out in the open for size. If it works then the comes the mantra loved the most by all:  figure it out!  I won't have a final answer on that until Yevette awakens and checking will probably take daylight but the stuff is accessible without a nightmarish hassle to get it.  Definitely will happen.

I'm diggin' it.  There's nothing so good as a solution when it's free.  Yahoo!

When it comes to dancing with a daffodil, the Fairy Princess could do it.  Fairies can always do dances like that.

For you, she really is a Fairy Princess and you have heard of her floating around in a mangrove swamp in the Keys and doing one damn fine Katherine Hepburn imitation ... which is unusual for a fairy but still cool.  What six year old does this??  She's a fairy, man.  I'm tellin' you.

She will go to Washington soon so I wouldn't want to see her playing Clinton but she could be grand as Elizabeth Warren in front of the Lincoln Monument.  Even Jimmy Stewart would wake up to see that!

You won', tho.  We gots rules, see.  Absolute security on the kidstuffs, see.

Note:  do not even slightly read any resentment as I'm proud to maintain security and mother's security is more relaxed than mine but that's fine.  I ain't the mother (larfs).

For reasons you don't need to know, the specific purpose is to dazzle the Fairy Princess but not by piling her with affectations and trinkets but with experience.  Some grandparents just give the kids cakes and sweets but this is a whole different wizard story.  It's about waving a wand and going to Fantasia.  When she goes to see the wizard that spell really does work and maybe she will turn up in Puerto Rico this time.

Note:  I am not even slightly exaggerating.

Don't worry about spoiling the Fairy Princess as it's really clever the way it works.  Grandparents can be like that, you know.

Note:  I'm not the grandparent, I just watch.  It's one delicious privilege.

Through her, all of us see the future.  We have different political positions and we visualize effecting any vision of the future in different ways but the point of it is the same.  If it's not good for the Fairy Princess then it probably isn't good for anyone.  Given a not unrealistic life expectation of one hundred years, the Fairy Princess will still be dancing with daffodils in 2115 and maybe not even that much slower given the speed of medical advancement.

That's Heinlein, man.

Cadillac Man and I had a quite good talk last night and those will run for hours.  It's a good exchange because our views aren't just the same but we can compare without combat.

There's one theme which is still floating somewhat regarding the extent to which American history back to the beginning dictates actions now.  My position is it holds great influence and perspective so long as we know the history but Cadillac Man seems a bit more fatalistic and I don't mean to load the position too much but there is some fatalism, in my view, in the idea history directs what we do now.

Kannafoot has a somewhat similar view regarding war insofar as there were many wars in history so it's our nature to fight many wars.

These ideas smack strongly of a sense of predestination or preordination which I categorically reject. That goes back to theological philosophy if you like as that notion of predestination is a considerable influence within religion.  It's not my purpose to review that, only to note it exists.  There it lives as it will but I reject it from any secular application because, in my view, it defies any notion of real freedom to choose.  There will be a war anyway so, screw it, let's go.

Right now a US aircraft carrier battle group is sailing toward that dinky island in the South China Sea which is claimed by Japan but is occupied by China.  What other message does that send beyond, we're willing to waste that island and start a world war for Japan.  Dunno about you but I'm not willing to die for Japan and they sure as hell wouldn't die for me.

Earlier I was advised this was to protect allies, one of which is Vietnam and I only wondered ... do you read this as you write it.  The US ally in Vietnam?

It's another George Bush coalition and maybe they will get Tahiti this time.

Earlier I was thinking Obama needs to get cracking to start wars in Africa and South America so he gets the full score in disrupting life on every continent but American troops are already in Africa and I'm not entirely sure what role they are filling but it sure as hell isn't tea and cupcakes.

"Waltzing Matilda" - Slim Dusty (video)

As down-home Australian as anything ever gets.  America loves country music and so does Australia with Slim Dusty being one of the most loved performers.  (WIKI:  Slim Dusty)

You have likely heard of The Seekers and they're Australian as well.

Oh yeah, I'm wallowing in it this morning (larfs).  My eyes get all teary and I laugh at myself at the same time.

"Waltzing Matilda" isn't the official album but it might as well be.  I'm not sure if it affects my sibs in the same way or as much since I was the oldest so maybe I absorbed more of it.  No way to know but it's a powerful thing.

Maybe I was kind of teasing on this with the bit yesterday because that got me going, yep, got to hear it.  Time for "Waltzing Matilda" (larfs).

Here's a wee bit of family nostalgia:  either of my parents could shout out 'CHECK IN' and all of the kids must come immediately from wherever we are to line up according to age in front of whomever it was.  Failure to do so met with a seriously-angry response.

That sounds so Achtung! but it was life-saving.  If they had not done that on a regular basis with six kids who were close to uncontrollable then there would have been casualties for sure.  They didn't lose one and, in Australia, that's kind of remarkable.

Australia really isn't that dangerous but it has fo' real life-threatening possibilities just about anywhere you go.  If you're aware then you probably won't get bit ... but ... otherwise, you are food.

Figure for yourself the nightmare of taking six kids to an Australia beach with active lifesavers (i.e. Australian for lifeguards) on active watch for sharks.  There are jellyfish in the water and some of them are extremely painful to lethal.  And spiders ... some bigger than your hand.  It's the little ones which will kill you, tho.

Six kids ... and you ... how are you doin', Mom?  How is Blogger Mom doin' with this, huh?  (larfs)

It's been my thinking the uncontrollability wasn't neglect but deliberate because he knew if he tried to cage us then one or more would end up in jail.  It's more luck than judgment we didn't anyway.  We never did anything really terrible but we damn sure would have been busted hard for some of it.  Really I'm grateful for that as he was tyrannical when he felt he needed to be and that made it clear there were limits to uncontrollability but it was wide open up until that line.

There's no chance the sibs and much of the neighborhood can have forgotten that Hosea Ave 'mansion' in Clifton and how it was running hippie freak wild for years and getting more so all the time until people started peeling off, usually to get married.  Then RL came to all except me and one sister.

My life seems a failure behind all those clouds of reefer smoke but that's more apparent than real.  Every musician is risking no-one will ever give a rat's patootie about what you play but it's a worthy risk because you still get the music.  Whatever anyone else may think of it, I got to play things I never even imagined I could possibly play and making sounds I thought only gods could achieve.  For me, the success is being able to do it and the financial reward is a shell around it which gives big cars and lots of coke ... interesting but really not necessary and probably not good.

Let's not wobble on coke:  you can't handle it.  Don't fuck with it.

Maybe one time you can get away with it.  But then you keep going back and you won't get away with that.

So, yah, I'm broke but there are multiple things which can stab my heart much deeper than that.  Meanwhile, the Galaxy Guitar sits behind me.  Physical strength to play her is highly variable and this is under heavy study for reasons.  I don't eat the same things and expect anything to change, etc.  There's no wistfulness but rather it's wtf and figure it out.

Frasers don't give up.  It's not allowed, man (larfs).  Maybe that's being Australian but it works either way.

Waltzing Matilda, Matilda, my darlin',
You'll come a-waltzing, Matilda, with me.
He sang and he watched and waited 'til his billy boiled,
"You'll come a-waltzing, Matilda, with me."

A Most Unusual ACACIA Sighting

ACACIA is a goofy name for a fraternity which still makes no sense to me but I suspect most regard it as Animal House.  This hadn't reached the full maturity of the John Belushi version but it had all the potential for it and the place was definitely headed that way (i.e. running out of money, etc).

That's where I met the Cadillac Man and he actually got fully-initiated into the fraternity.  My behavior might have been a little less than responsible so my grades were enough to keep me in school but mostly I was getting high and playing a guitar as much as I could.  The Army was in-between the first half of uni and the second so this was about as unusual as it gets.  For me it was another Universe when I came back and it's partly because you're distant and a lot of stuff goes past.

Let's play this cagey since I seriously detest using real names and here are some clues for the Cadillac Man.  There is news about the nurses from Deaconess dorm and I know two have been married continuously ever since then.  I can tell you her name when we talk but for now the one on Facebook is the girl I was seeing.  That led to news about our red-headed partner in collegiate crime and his dark-haired girl who became his wife.  Unknown how much of this you may know but I will call soon.  Best time is probably tomorrow night so hopefully good for Cadillac Man as well.

A sighting!

In "Hurt," Johnny Cash sings how everyone goes away and it's heart-bustingly tragic as he sings it but that's been the nature of my life.  This isn't a lament but an observation because it's a different lifestyle.  During key years, my parents moved at five-year intervals and that was followed by the Army so there was never any continuum but rather disjointed realities with different people in them.

This is seriously not a sad song but "Hurt" made me think of it.  Life is like a blazing fast slide show for me because nothing stays the same and it never has.  You can try to keep track of people but you probably won't be able to do it for long, not if you keep rolling along.  For me it's willingly moving but sometimes not and the result is it has never stopped.  The only stable time was when I was married and the stability is probably what undid me or, more accurately, I undid myself.

No worries.  I'm not going to analyze it.  One thing I think Kannafoot respects about me is I had known him in ten years in RL before Facebook and had said to him once, you have never heard me disrespect my wife and he knew it was true.

There are two things which will never stop coming back through my head on a constant parade:  the shoulder-smasher bike crash and the divorce.  Call it PTSD if you like but I don't think it's even unusual.

Maybe that lifestyle is why it doesn't feel all that lonely now.  People always did go away but some didn't and now it's kind of a cozy perspective on a twisted life.  Repeat, this is not a lament as a lot of it has been spectacular and more than for cool views or good skiing.

The Queen Bee may have one of the best angles on this as an almost life-time job working for an airline means she has traveled everywhere.  I'm not sure of the motivation but I doubt it's only to see big bridges or some such.  Half of the family defines autism but the other half is highly-gregarious and they are some hand-shakin' mofos.  That would be Queen Bee and I imagine she knows people around the planet and what a gift of life, huh!  The perspective on what people are would be exquisite so, yah, I'm highly envious of that.

She dedicated her life to doing that (plus raising a family) and that's a remarkable dedication when the job probably wasn't pushing her intellectual cockles anywhere near a redline.  The payoff in enrichment around the world had to have been really extraordinary and I have no doubt it was or she would not have kept doing it.  You can see on Facebook, she's definitely Miss Clifton and she has a ball with that with a riot in pictures she posts with some frequency.

The stuff they do is whacked.  They went tooling around the runway in a big commercial aircraft, all dressed up in costumes, for some kids, I think handicapped in some way, and maybe they were taking them to the North Pole.  I'm not sure if that was exactly it but definitely it was something of that nature.  Completely nuts and apparently completely diggin' it.

Usually there has to be some potential for glory or Frasers won't do it (larfs).  I love traveling and it wouldn't have been tough to tempt me to take a job like that.  Who needs all the fookin' pressure from corporate IT.  Yep, I think I would have done that airline job too.

The only part it misses is the distance stays as it was almost a year in Greece and that was a deep to the soul experience.  Australia is the same thing and "Waltzing Matilda" will get me misty even now because that vibe runs so deep.  I will love the bouzouki until I croak in the same way, it goes right back to Greece.

Something I'm so diggin' is the idea of Lotho and Mrs Lotho going to Europe and I so hope it's A&A style in which they can stay for anywhere they like for long enough to get to know people.  Right now they can only guess how much their lives will change but I would easily put a five star guarantee on it.  Both of them love to talk and going for cafes rather than hotels guarantees you will talk.  You wonder how but people find a way.  If you learn the words for manners in as many languages as you can, you're already halfway home to making friends.  It's such a profound exhilaration when you communicate with people and really have no idea what each other is saying but you work it out.  Those may be the biggest smiles you will ever know.

But there's stuff just because it's beautiful

The fo' real inspiration for Disneyland, the Castle Neuschwanstein.  The back story is it was an absurdly frivolous thing to do and I believe the one who did it was the last King of Bavaria, not all that long ago.  It seems he croaked in the lake behind but it doesn't seem exactly clear how it happened.

Note: just figured how it works with saying 'noyshwvanstine' as the 'shvahh' sound is first with bringing your front teeth down to your lower lip for the 'shv' and then open to blow it out with the 'ahh.'  Yah, I really was sitting here trying that to figure out what moves my mouth makes to do that.  It gets worse, some people have words for each part of that.

It will be a tough call whether you spend all your time tooling around looking at cool stuff because there's cool stuff everywhere.  The other choice is getting hammered in a small French cafe and taking your dinner for hours and hours.

Hmm ... Lotho comes up to the age when I did it.  Time to get a move on, son!  (larfs)

Note:  I skipped the aggressively opulent things of Europe because I was being an asshole Socialist and there's mixed regret on that.  I could have strolled about Versailles with a self-righteous contempt, right?  (larfs)

But ...

Then there was the French sandwich shop and my French is for total rubbish while they spoke almost zero English.  We did figure it out and it was complete Marx Brothers.  No chance I would want to trade that for visiting Versailles.  Yes, the sandwich was great!

Yah, tough call (larfs).

If you go into it willing to adapt then you will be fine.  That and a smile and you're in.

Books, I Have Books

For y'all, this is nothin' but for me it's a big, big deal.  The Half Price Books store was located in River Oaks in Fort Worth and I came away with four books for fifteen bucks, all in surprisingly good condition.  Fifteen bucks, man!  I love used bookstores.  Yevette was diggin' it too as she was sitting cross-legged on the floor in a different section as she went through her discoveries.

The Books:

"Otherland" (volume one) is on a five star recommendation from Kannafoot but otherwise I know little about it.

"Football" is an old-time aliens invade Earth story but it's been regarded well for ages.  I have not read that one either.

"The Mote in God's Eye" is something I regard as the best sociological review of human reproductive excesses I have ever read and there are fascinating insights beyond that as well.

"The Gripping Hand" is the sequel to "The Mote in God's Eye" but I did not know until today it existed.  Given the insight of the first, this one was mandatory.

All my life books around have been around everywhere but they're tough to hold once things start collapsing.  The iPad was employed for a while for reading and it got a serious try with multiple books but the final verdict was the only thing worse for reading than an iPad is darkness.

There hasn't been a move yet on the green screen and the money hasn't been blown but my corpus has been running in a debilitated state and it's not really clear why but it's hard to put fuel into it, well, and keep it inside.  The money won't get blown as I didn't buy reefer last month and it's still not gone.

How Hillary Clinton Will Work Her Health Care Plan

In short, she won't.  Her proposal to cover the uninsured Americans is the same as the public option of the Affordable Care Act that's been attacked more aggressively than anything since Roe v Wade.  Obama tried for eight years to implement it but America would have nothing of it.

Now Hillary Clinton thinks she will wave a magic wand and people will yield for her.

If you believe that, here's a ticket to Disneyland.  Here's some popcorn for the kids.

Clinton has dismissed the problem of insuring people who have no insurance and waved it off as an easy thing ... man, we just extend Obamacare.  You know, let me talk about Obama and what a wonderful guy he is and ...

Nicely glib but ten percent of Americans is about thirty million people.  That will cost a bundle and America has already been abundantly clear it will not pay for it.

Neither should America be required to pay for it as the offset to Bernie Sander's health care plan is the conversion of all the money going to medical insurance companies now.  Some you will keep after that and the rest will go to the medical community.  It will go to zero parasites in the middle.  The government couldn't run up costs like the insurance companies if it took your money and burned it.  There's massive, wasteful duplication of process by insurance companies insofar as all do generally the same thing.  That's your money down the toilet.

In Clinton's health care plan, there's nothing to prevent what happened to me.  They can't cancel you for a pre-existing condition but they can cancel you for whatever else they like.  That's life-destroying power and they are not responsible enough to wield it.

In the same way, Hillary Clinton is not responsible enough to wield the office of the Presidency.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz - Nemesis of the Democratic Party

Incredibly, this is what a ton of money buys and she's the chairperson of the Democratic National Committee where she has been manipulating it at will.  This despite the fact she is a contract whore who is currently running with Republicans to oppose Elizabeth Warren on regulation of payday loan sharks.

She is not impartial and Hillary Clinton owns her down to her toenails.  Wasserman-Schultz has been making schedules advantageous to Clinton regardless of the consequence to Sanders but knowing full well it would be destructive.

She is the clear emblem of everything which is wrong with the Democratic Party (i.e. no real Democrats, particularly not Hillary Clinton who sold her soul to the GOP years ago).

Take one look at those slack eyes and tell me what real value she will ever add to anything.

Insulting the Electorate to Get Hillary Clinton Elected

Right off the top, it won't work.

There's only one rule in my own little world and that's no dirty fighting.  This is what permits discussion with Kannafoot who is an arch-conservative and we are easily capable of turning each other into thin-sliced turkey meat but there's not a large payoff in that except for minor social network gamesmanship.  The above was originally for Facebook but that also works well with Lotho.  Keep it high up and we can talk about almost anything as his views are opposed to mine in some ways as well.

Something which sets this apart from the rest of Facebook is we ask questions of each other and that's exceedingly rare inside that twisted world.

Knowledge gets respect here and Kannafoot is well-versed at an unbelievable level of detail about the Catholic church and its history along with an extraordinary detail of knowledge of American history.

In the longest-running friendship of my life with the Cadillac Man, he's a graduate historian and we talk frequently on the matter because it's a passion for him and age brings interest in history which youth often does not bestow.  His focus has been upon the Reconstruction however lately quite a bit it's been on Alexander Hamilton from the earliest times, whereas Ronald has an exceptionally comprehensive knowledge of history worldwide.  Pink is another and I have known him since sixth grade which is definitely the record in my life.  He doesn't parade his knowledge but his insights into things clearly reveal his background study.  As with Kannafoot, his knowledge wasn't obtained under a degree as his real work was as a submariner (long way back).

Elsewhere, I'm getting insulted all over the place regarding my position on voting for Clinton and that's hardly an effective method of discussion.  For many, it's not worthy of a response because they're uninformed so I flip them off and move along.

If they were informed, there wouldn't be a question of Clinton and any idea I will follow the lead of the slave states from Super Tuesday is ridiculous fantasy.  I'm in Texas and I know it's not as loaded with racists as it seems but it does not comport itself that way and neither do the others.  Lotho lives in Tennessee and he's not even close to a racist but you could not tell that by the behavior of that state either.

With Clinton, it's a lot like Christian missionaries except they don't typically start insulting if they don't get what they want.  If that's the crew Clinton has attracted then she has no value in any case.

(Ed:  they may kill you instead of insulting you!)

Yah, that's a hazard but the missionaries are usually in Africa.

Hopefully you all can see the arrogance in assuming I have not studied Christianity, politics, and American history in some detail and I refuse to stand by while profiteers bastardize the system.  If you do that, insulting me because I won't is rather less than adult.

My position is in part but a strong part that what happened to me must never happen to anyone else.  My situation cannot be fixed and it's cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars and practically everything I own.  In fact, Kannafoot saw what was left of me after the illness the insurance company used to cancel me and that was even before the surgery to replace my shoulder.  They canceled me and everything fell apart.

Welcome to America.  That wouldn't have even been possible in most other developed nations of the world.

Note:  that was Liberty Mutual insurance and that was another prize example of barefaced arrogance.

No, I will not now nor will I ever vote for anyone who supports the insurance system.  In short, my vote won't help me but it must help someone or I have to reason to cast it.

Isle of Man - Most Dangerous Motorcycle Race in the World (video)

There is zero crash exploitation in this video and the edits are tight and fast.  It's exciting to watch and, again, there is zero crashing although the danger of the race is not overstated.

The road course at the Isle of Man is 37.2 miles per lap and there's nothing else like it in the world.  There's GP bike racing but this is a whole different order of insanity.  I was fast and Lotho was much faster on two wheels but there's no chance I would have pushed this speed and I doubt even Lotho would have pushed it this hard.  He did take some GP track training and that's when he decided, nope, maybe pro racing isn't such a good idea.

Lotho could tell it so much better but, to hear him tell it, you won't be competitive in GP motorcycle racing unless you're fine with both wheels locked at once and you're sliding.  This isn't drifting to impress girls with lots of noise and smoke but the real thing and as dangerous as a motorcycle ever gets.

With someone who is really good with a four-wheel drift in racing, you will hardly notice they are doing it because it loses too much speed to do it for long.  It's a balance you hit at the apex of a corner and you hang on the edge of hell ... but it is soooo grand.

Fine ... so now do that on two wheels.

All together now:  no way in hell!

We Rolled Over for State Guns Twice Previously - No Way Hillary Clinton

Once they turned the guns on us at Kent State and we stopped.  Then the turned the goon squads out on OWS and we stopped.

We will not stop again.  Bernie Sanders is a good man and there is no chance we will abandon him regardless of whatever chicanery the DNC may pull as led by the known-to-be corrupt Debby Wasserman-Schultz.

Note 1:  Wasserman-Schultz has just announced opposition to Elizabeth Warren and she teams up with the GOP to resist any challenges to payday loan sharks.  That's Clinton's girl, alright.

Note 2:  it appears her husband is one of the primary campaign coordinators for Clinton so don't even think about telling me the wife hasn't been purchased as well.  The DNC does not belong to the Democratic Party anymore but rather the Clintons bought it.  They do not represent Democrats.

We will not now nor will we ever vote for corporate corruption, regardless of whether it comes from the GOP or the Clintons.  We insist on nothing less than total honesty and Bernie Sanders is the only one who delivers.

People say it is irresponsible of me to abstain from voting but it's vastly more irresponsible if I vote to sustain the criminal reign of Washington lobbyists and the politicians who are bribed by them.

Hillary Clinton will never get my vote even if she's the only one on the ballot.

Quite apart from anything else, her husband is the piece of shit who rides out of impeachment on his wife's back to get into the White House.  What a man, huh?

He's also the hypocritical bastard who sold out the American workers with NAFTA ... and the workers will vote for another Clinton?  That's not how this works.  Big money buys big votes and who knows where they get them.

It will never buy my vote.  It's not negotiable.

It's the same with Yevette and I didn't talk her into anything, it's common sense.  When you read it becomes obvious.  Clinton is no damn good and she is not even close to being a real Democrat.

The only hope I have on the planet for getting medical insurance is through Bernie Sanders.  Clinton just makes promises she won't keep.  The Affordable Care Act doesn't work now and she says she will keep it?  She can talk a walk, hopefully soon.

Her plan for insurance is bullshit because I cannot afford it.  The ACA is nothing more than another broken political promise to me.  It was supposed to have the public option but it was thrown out.

Sanders won't make false compromises like that.  His record proves that.  You can't push him around.

Before You Vote for Trump, Listen to John Oliver (video) - #MakeDonaldDrumpfAgain

If you would vote for Trump, it would be better if you know him a lot better than he will ever tell you ... and he flips so much you would never know what he really told you anyway.

Brilliant, meticulously-researched, and absolutely deadly to point.  Donald Trump isn't a candidate but rather a disease assaulting the system.

Note:  this is not partisan but rather it's about calling bullshit.  Do whatever you like but don't tangle with this rat bait.

Mystery Lady, this is extremely funny stuff.  I love this guy.  Stewart disappeared and Colbert just joined the network TV guys who are all just stooges.  I hope Colbert can get himself out of that as he's got more stuff than that and it will never come out so long as he's in the same crowd as Jimmy Fallon and similar minor gigglefreaks.

Texas, Stand Up for Bernie Sanders

As an example of what the Establishment does to steal freedom from you, review the recent news regarding Margaret Sanger.  Anyone who believes in personal freedom and the GOP will hate them.  When Margaret Sanger announced her advocacy for birth control, back so far she was the one to invent the term, she guaranteed she would be vilified, slandered, and dishonored by every second-rate conservative for the rest of time.

Media, quoting who knows what vicious and untruthful sources, have claimed Margaret Sanger was a member of the KKK and she was a Communist.

What Margaret Sanger actually said:

"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea, if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."  (WIKI:  Margaret Sanger)

Here's how conservatives quote her:

We want to exterminate the Negro population.

Look again, that is NOT what she said.  This bare-faced lying by conservatives to make false points is one of the worst attributes of America because they do it routinely and, as you see with Trump, it's so glib while they do it as they have no consideration for truth, it just doesn't matter.

Bernie Sanders is truth.  Conservatives hate that truth but there's no denying the reality of it nor his honesty in presenting it.

Don't read one word of this as any kind of a back-handed endorsement of Hillary Clinton as a backup.  She is as much Establishment as the GOP and cannot be trusted.  Don't forget what Bill Clinton did with NAFTA and Glass-Steagall.  If that shows any love for American workers, just where exactly is it.

Listen to the words of this as it's exactly Bernie Sanders song and Clinton probably never heard of it.

Millennials, you have to make your move and right now.  That goes for Texas, Tennessee, and eight other states.  If you ever want real freedom in your life then you have to stand up, young rebel.  It's your country, stand up and take it.  Damn sure do not let the Establishment steal it from you.

We had the Establishment on the run after Vietnam but then they started shooting us at Kent State and people backed-off.  We never imagined America would shoot its own.  Believe it, they did.

The Millennials were getting the Establishment on the run again but then they turned out the goon squads on OWS and, again, none of us imagined how vicious they could be.

If you're ever going to stop that kind of Fascist treatment, now is the time.  If you want to be free, you will never get real freedom unless you stand up and demand it because the GOP purpose is not to give you freedom but rather to restrict it.  Their idea of freedom is waving flags and marching troops around the place but every despot who ever lived called that freedom and the people have never agreed with them unless they were so tyrannized they had no choice.

There are multiple types of GOP people.  Doc is one brother who is completely lost to right-wing extremism and there's no way to even talk to him since he's been rabid about it for decades.

Lotho is my other brother and he's lost to the GOP as well but he's not rabid about it and he thinks.  With him I can talk and we may not agree but there's no question of waving hands at each other and getting all dramatic about it, we simply disagree.

Kannafoot is a mostly-classic Goldwater Republican and that crew is intelligent and informed, even if highly-warped on the requirements for the country and without a hint of morality about how those requirements should be fulfilled.  He has a clear support for the policy of regime change and he believes it's America's right to do it, by any means necessary.  If that means illegal assassination by the CIA of Salvador Allende, it's ok.  I was shocked to my toes to hear he does not deny Henry Kissinger's role in the assassination of Salvador Allende in 1964 but supports it for furthering the needs of America.

The actual fact of the matter is it was a disaster.  Not only did Allende get murdered for no reason but this ushered in the reign of terror under Pinochet and hundreds of thousands of people died.  That's what the policy of regime change does and, as far as I can tell, it has never worked at any time in American history.

YOU have to stop this and your opportunity is today.  America does NOT murder people in the night or at least not the America I knew.  Take it back!
