My side is the one which does not end sentences with prepositions. There's a good chance I'm the only one on it.
The forefathers spoke and wrote beautifully. Even in prose they wrote as if it were poetry.
Today, after the construction of countless schools, the spending of billions of dollars, the printing of more books than the forefathers could have ever imagined, command of the language is, at best, guttural.
So Obama says the plan for Iraq is not complete and apparently he regards this as news when there has never been a plan in Iraq other than killin' a lot of muddafuggas. Obama also said he would get the troops out so presumably that plan never got completed either. Bush and Cheney had no plan as they turned it over to the Pentagon and said do what you like. End of planning.
Ending sentences with style rather than with prepositions will improve clarity of speech but won't turn complete bullshit into fact and therefore is of no consequence for politicians.
