It would be supremely excellent to somehow figure out a way to upgrade from the pissant DJ monitors I've been using to some cabs with some balls ... but not here.
Anything of that nature is extremely difficult (i.e. expensive) to move and it's ridiculously difficult (i.e. unbelievably expensive) to fly. It was always the intention to abandon the P.A. as, regardless of what one mis-guided soul said, it didn't cost very much and would cost more to move than it's worth.
The other casualties of flying are the lasers as they're relatively easy to damage and that means road cases. See above about ridiculously expensive.
The other casualty that hurts is the synthesizer has a full-size (i.e. seven octave) keyboard but I never got a case for it. A road case plus the cost for over-sized checked luggage and that is almost certainly impossible.
The goal, dream, all those things has been Germany and that focus is never lost although the immediacy of over-heated monitors is hugely annoying.
The new used iMac didn't change anything as the box is right here and would easily pack for flying in a much more convenient and better way than I did it last time.
For me, being ready to fly would take about half a day.
Yevette makes it a bro movie as we're not ballin' but we're ballin' and that's all the explanation you need except that it's a bro movie. She's rooted much deeper as I don't care where I am so long as it's cool. Anyplace where people run around carrying guns is specifically not cool so there's only one answer: go somewhere they don't do that.
There's no way either of us can escape individually but we can do it socialist and make it. I've got more freedom to be lackadaisical about money as my prognosis didn't get any better so the bigger concern is what becomes of Yevette if I become a croaked companion. She will have friends as of course Cat is there already but I will be dealing with people and my German is strong enough to try conversation so Yevette will learn as I learn and there's nothing to make people smile so much as when you really are trying to learn the language.
So, don't make too much of muttering about the monitors as a lot of things are pissin' me off right about this time but that doesn't change anything for the bigger focus and it won't. The iMac will get fixed and figuring out the tactics for an escape plan will come as well. I have no idea how but I do know they will.
There's one other problem as it's significantly colder in Bavaria and Cat will think I'm a pussy for coldness, most likely because I am a pussy for coldness. I was raised in fookin' Australia and never even saw snow until I was twelve plus I never lived in it until I was almost seventeen. So, yah, I'm a pussy for cold.
(I hated snow but I figured the only way to survive was make a deal so I started skiing. That made snow challenging in a good way ... but it's still one burning pain in the ass to shovel it.)
