"Then There Was One from a Legend" #Poetry

She came from an unknown lake
where she held her sword up in the air
but she didn't ever use it
since that blade only brought truth

There's a lovely breath of air
which refreshes all the world
since the ones who don't want anything
are everyone's greatest joy

She will sing at any time
and doesn't need a reason
it's all about the music
and doesn't need a season

since she rises from the water
when e'er she hears the call
and many times that wonder
holds people in her thrall

Her peace is such a rarity
in a world gone completely mad
She sees all that with gifted eyes
but she won't let them make her sad

since the ones who bring the love
will never use that sword
and she has never tried
her song is her true word
