WikiLeaks has published what it claims is the largest ever publication of confidential documents on the CIA. More than 8,000 documents were released on Tuesday as part of ‘Vault 7’, a series of leaks on the agency. The release came after a planned press conference suffered a cyberattack, according to the whistleblowing organization.
Earlier on Tuesday, WikiLeaks had tweeted the leak, which it claims came from a network inside the CIA’s Center for Cyber Intelligence in Langley, Virginia, would be of particular interest to tech journalists. (RT: WikiLeaks publishes 'entire hacking capacity of the CIA')
Americans believe the Bible with a whole lot less proof than the Rockhouse has provided regarding well over fifty years of global depredations from the CIA but people often do not believe it.
Note: burning this symbol of shame in oil sometimes offers some relief but nothing absolves those responsible for it.
Commentary regarding the latest revelation of the details of how the CIA is deliberately poisoning software and breaking systems comes from Edward Snowden, one of the few other sources of truth in America but see above about the Bible since Americans don't believe him either. (RT: Snowden on WikiLeaks Year Zero: Evidence US govt pays to keep 'software unsafe')
Edward Snowden has tweeted his response to WikiLeaks’ massive dump of confidential documents surrounding CIA hacking tools, describing it as “genuinely a big deal.”
Snowden, who has lived in exile since he blew the lid off the scale of National Security Agency surveillance in 2013, has been pouring through the cache of more than 8,000 documents, saying that they “show iOS/Android are what got hacked – a much bigger problem.”

Previously it was Microsoft systems which had the worst software and were more easily hacked than anything else in the known Universe but now Android seems to be serving the CIA in that way. Ducky.
The former NSA employee is also convinced that the revelations exposed in this latest massive WikiLeaks dump are genuine, tweeting that only a cleared insider could know the names of programs and offices used by the agency.
The whistleblower also claims that this is the first public evidence that the United States government is secretly paying to keep US software unsecured.

Evidence mounts showing CIA & FBI knew about catastrophic weaknesses in the most-used smartphones in America, but kept them open -- to spy.

Even CNN gets it (sort of). (CNN: Wikileaks claims to reveal how CIA hacks TVs and phones all over the world)
The CIA has become the preeminent hacking operation, sneaking into high-tech phones and televisions to spy on people worldwide, according to an explosive WikiLeaks publication of purported internal CIA documents on Tuesday.
To hide its operations, the CIA routinely adopted hacking techniques that enabled them to appear as if they were hackers in Russia, WikiLeaks said.

CNN is the same outfit which has been extolling CIA services relative to their phony belief the DNC was ever hacked by Moscow so their report on anything should be taken with salt but at least they seem to understand this piece of it even when they show no ability to integrate the information.
WikiLeaks said it published the documents to show the potentially hazardous ramifications of the CIA's covert hacking program -- and the massive theft of those tools.
"There is an extreme proliferation risk in the development of cyber 'weapons,'" said WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange in a statement.

Well, I tell you what, Julian, buddy, but that proliferation already happened so now the question is what to do about one of the most evil threats on the planet, one which has been running roughshod over democracy and the world since the CIA was instituted in the Fifties by Harry Truman.
In review of the Absolute Worst American President ever, Andrew Jackson usually takes the biscuit here at the Rockhouse because of his inordinate and inhumane savagery toward American Indians which continues to this day. Naturally, Washington, D.C., put Jackson on the twenty-dollar bill but that only shows Washington hasn't changed much since that time.
Harry Truman is most likely a better candidate for the worst since Andrew Jackson's crimes against humanity were hideous for the American Indians but they were not globally destructive. Harry Truman, however, easily surpassed that and in two ways which were and remain immensely destructive to the entire planet:
- Truman gave the first authorization in the world to above-ground nuclear testing and that failure in foreign relations remains an ongoing nightmare for the planet to this day.
- Truman authorized the CIA and unleashed more uncontrolled criminality than anything we have seen short of regimes intent on world domination.
