All the World's a Stage

And it never has big enough speakers.

The Thumper monitors I've been using have 250-watt amps driving a 12-inch bass speaker and a horn.  They're powerful enough for high and mid but the bottom isn't all that strong.  They do stand up to abuse as I've never managed to explode them.  I don't get off on beating women but I'm savage with speakers and have destroyed many.  Instead of exploding, these ones overheat and that sucks.  It saves the speaker but it needs a cool-down time before the amps will work again.  I've done this countless times and the major suck times are when it happens in a gig.

Introducing Tim Allen ...

YOU NEED MORE POWER ARRRRGGGHHH  ARRRGGGHHH ARRRGGGHHHH

Thanks, Tim.

The more-powerful version of the Thumper cabinets is Mackie's 1000-watt version and that number may disturb Yevette but most of the power goes to driving the bass.  The object isn't to make the sound any louder but to give it a greater 'presence' and that only comes through bass.

It also only comes through money and that's about 2.2 bags of premium reefer.  These days that's enough to last for months so that makes the equation:  is the over-heating pissing me off enough to go dry for months.  Most likely it's not but the thought is definitely flying around.

(Ed:  what about the "Pigment of My Fascination" CD?)

Unknown.  I assume if they sell a lot then they will send a limo.  I have not seen a limo, tho.

I still plan to release "Ride the Dragon" as soon as the iMac stumbles back to its feet.  Everything is stopped cold until that happens and you seriously don't want to know the technical details although one of them is some of the cords won't reach ... high-tech.

The cover pic is so cool I have to release the CD ... wtf ... tell me she ain't every man's fantasy ... but only if you can handle riding dragons and she's in a place where they live.  Plus I'm curious if some prig will censor it as that would be highly amusing to me.
