Merkel sits back happily smiling as she listens to American outrage over bugging the phones for Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, sometimes known as American Secretaries of State but no-one has any idea if they have real jobs. (AP: Report: German intel spied on Kerry, Clinton)
Tip: don't go peeking around in a woman's handbag as there will be payback and no man does that anyway. (Some time back it was revealed the NSA had been hacking Angela Merkel's cellphone.)
Germany kicks America's ass in the World Cup and also makes fools out of their spies, all within a month or so.
(The difference between an American cellphone and a megaphone is you cannot use a megaphone in the toilet.)
Israel is also laughing as they hacked Kerry's phone also.
The reaction of Americans will be the predictable outrage, especially from conservatives as they're most predictable of all (i.e. lots of hurt feelings ... "we thought she was our friend."). It should be quite funny to watch.
It might be better to look at the bigger problem: using a 'secure' American cellphone anywhere is just about the same as telling your problems to Dear Prudence: the next day they will appear in the newspaper along with some idiotic interpretation of what you said. The interpretation will be impossible with Kerry or Clinton as neither of them ever said much of anything you couldn't read on a political bumper sticker.
It should be obvious that any kid with some junk parts and some spare time can hack a 'secure' American cellphone easier than opening the package for the latest video game. Apparently American 'diplomats' have been broadcasting their 'secrets' to the world for years.
Meanwhile, there are more important problems: should Rick Perry wear glasses for his mugshot. Should he wear his glasses and pretend to be intelligent thus giving the impression he is a calculating criminal or should he go without them and show the normal blank stare, much like what we saw from George Bush when he was told about 9/11. This is what happens when Republicans get confused and they don't have the Anti-Christ (i.e. Dick Cheney) to tell them what to do.
With each passing day, it becomes more clear the only person who knew what he was doing in American national security was Edward Snowden.
