Even Tweens Need to Know the Importance of Banning Things

Parents probably already know this but JoJo's BowBow is a rage with kids and such bows are characterized by ebullient colors and also by their large size.

When kids enjoy something which is so cheerful, benign, and little kids have fun with it, there's only one answer, right?

Ed:  ban it?

Righty, right, mate.  That's the answer.  (BBC:  JoJo bows: The tween craze being banned from a classroom near you)

You can easily see the obvious threat in these bows.

Ed:  she's really part of a clandestine conspiracy to radicalize the young!

Watson, the speed of your mind sometimes amazes.

Ed:  like this time?

No, not like this time but sometimes.

Parents of primary-school age children may have noticed them in the playground: massive colourful bows young girls are wearing atop a ponytail or bun.

Several schools say the bows breach uniform policy, leaving parents divided over whether their children's JoJo bows should be allowed.

Among them are Sawley Junior School in Nottinghamshire and Fairfield Community Primary in Bury, Greater Manchester, with the head teacher there, Chris Ashley, describing the bows as "distracting".

Conform, suppress your individuality, never celebrate colors, and, above all, accept the fact that life is cold, miserable, and short.

Ed:  do you really believe that?

Hell no but it looks like they do in those schools in Nottingham and Manchester.
